Very disappointed with the service . I went in store and emailed the store a month a head an asked for a specific cake 3-4 days before my event I emailed again confirming the order the reply was so slow if I didn’t get a reply I had to email again anyway they said they could make the cake ready for pick up Monday at 5 I messaged day before got no reply I message on the day got no reply my partner called them an they couldn’t find my order they eventually found it an said it will be ready 5pm my partner went down an they came out with a completely different cake to what I asked for they just grabbed a cake from the cabinet an said the one who made it left . The night before our event which was for 30 kids . How bloody shocking won’t be back an will recommend others to buy from small business cake owners Name was haiyan

I was buying a cheesecake for a birthday, they brought one out to me and it was broken the shop lady didn't see anything wrong with the cheesecake, I had to show her that the side of the cake had fallen off. She went to get another one for me, took forever, the second cheesecake looked better but when I was serving it it looked like a mess, the biscuit base was soggy and so thin, very unpleasant to serve as it wasn'tstayingtogether. Was embarrassing serving this cheesecake.
The cheesecake shop in Rototuna did an exceptional job as I had ordered a last minute cheesecake for an anniversary yes women forget anniversary’s too , only phone ordered at 1pm ish for pickup later than evening and I loved the outcome, the cheese cake looked absolutely yummy and pretty !! The staff was very friendly too and gave great customer service. I would highly recommend getting the wildberry cheesecake , it taste just as good as it looks will be back for more soon.
Second time in a month that we’ve brought a cheesecake from this shop. The food is always extraordinary it is always a big treat for our family to have a cheesecake from the cheesecake shop and they look 3x better in person than the ones on the website. Service could definitely be better, not the friendliest. The shop also always has plenty of stock if you forget to order until last minute.
We bought a cheesecake on Friday for a 50th wedding celebration. Tasted ok but it was soggy and soft and was hard to actually serve a piece that looked better than mush.
Thank you so much for your quick service in having my daughter cake ready for pick up. Good service from the phone call and online booking. She really enjoyed her cake. You definitely made her day.
Went in store and ordered a MIDI Double Choc Strawberry Torte, which they grabbed from out the back for me and added a Choc Happy Birthday sign. The choc-covered strawberries on top were old and wrinkly, there were hardly any strawberries inside 95% choc and the cake box I was given was broken, had used sellotape on it and was grubby from the assembly of the cake. Was tasty but a bit disappointed that they didn’t take care with the finer details!
Lady in the shop who served us was friendly but not very knowledgable about ingredients. We tried the marbled cheesecake and it was super delicious. More pricey than I remember but worth it for the quality. It was rich and creamy and tasty. I would definitely go here again for dessert - in fact the desserts at the restaurant we ate at didn't look the best so grabbed dessert at the Cheesecake Shop instead and I can certainly guarantee the Cheesecake Shop dessert would have been more enjoyable, so a nice idea to grab dessert here after a meal.
Brought a black forest torte, looked nothing like it's supposed to... no biscuit crumb or chocolate curls. It was just covered in satin like chocolate icing. Ok. Not a deal breaker... Then we get home, cut into it, everyone has a slice and it was absolutely dry! It had no simple syrup on it at all and because we live a decent distance away, bringing it back wasn't an option. So annoyed.
