Ordered a vegan cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Paid extra for writing on top which I was told will be a coconut icing. Perfect. Arrived to collect the cake, no writing because they have none and the cake has been squashed against the box.. $60 and disappointed. Please work on your communication and customer service.
I wanted to pick a small cake for my mates bday. However even the smallest one costed me $41.90 plus $5 extra just for getting "HBD Abby" written on top. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they charged me 11.93% of the cake's price just for getting a standard Happy Birthday message written on it. Moreover, they didn't even tell me beforehand that it'd cost extra. Staff members are friendly and helpful but I think overall presentation of the store could definitely improve. Some of the cakes are extremely overpriced in my opinion.
LOVE the fact they were open New Years today! It meant I was able to pick up a cake for my aunt and know it'd be fresh From arrival to payment I spent only 7mins total in the shop where I told them what I'd like; including the Happy Birthday msg I required.. and then chose candles while they boxed it up etc Although I didn't order it online as I was distracted by my toddler and forgot LOL I did look in advance at their cake options & ultimately went with the Black Forest Torte which I knew everyone would enjoy flavour-wise and they did. Store itself was clean, presentable, and although no one was present when I walked through the door - the young man who served me was behind the counter before the door even closed behind me. Customer service was pleasant & efficient. Prices are fair for the size $48.90 for Full Size + $6 writing Overall very satisfied with the quality in every aspect & grateful to have one less thing on my list to worry about during this busy season Fyi pic was taken after candles blown out and some haphazardly removed
I ordered a customised cake for my friend. the shop did an excellent job, the cake is really cute and taste good. Definitely come back again for more cake!
Beautiful Cookies and Cream cake that was so easily ordered online, and the business rang me the next morning to confirm my order and instructions. My 10 yr old daughter and her friends loved it and especially loved plucking the treats off the top! Great selection of cakes and related accessories in store when I went to pick up!
Would give zero if that was possible. They happily accepted my payment of $73.90 and didn't even have the courtesy, let alone basic customer service to advise me that they would not be able to provide me with my order as their printer was broken! This was only shared with me after much back and forth from staff when I phoned them on the day of pickup to arrange an appropriate time for pickup. Then came the run around to get a full refund with unanswered emails when I tried to follow up on this. Disgusting!!! Will never bother with them again.
The cheesecake we ordered was awful. I preordered the cake as it was an important event and I wanted a fresh cake. I had to get the cake checked by the staff as it wasn’t what I ordered and seemed to be rushed. The quality of cakes has gone down and incompetent customer service.
Could give them zero star. We ordered american baked cheese cake. The cake description was american baked cheese cake with vanila and clear glaze and dusting sugar but no mentioned about coconut, the coconut flavor was not only so strong but gave of us food allergy and some people dont like coconut in cheese cake so party was ruined because of their cake. I Spoke to the owner who was very defensive and rude. she blame it was the cheese cake shop head office recipe and nothing she can do about that and that we should inform their staffs about food allergy before ordering. The problem was they did not specify all ingredients in the cake on their website so it was very bad and misleading consumers. The attitude of the franchise owner was very poor and she has zero customer service skill so we wont ever buy cake from them again.
The customer service is ridiculous here. Their advertisement shows a picture of a birthday cake with writings on it. We ordered one - for $55 - for our daughter's 7th birthday party. They gave to us a plain cake with nothing written on it. When we asked why, they said it is a celebratory cake and if we want writings on it we will have to pay $6 extra. They almost ruined the party for it was too late to take the cake back and get the writings done. This is basically a case of False Advertisement for not delievering what is on the picture after ordering online. So I had just to run to New World Kumeu and bought another birthday cake. Asked for the writings and the supervisor said it will be 5-10 minutes to wait... And he did not charged extra for it for the customer matters in the supermarket... 5 stars to the bakery of New World Kumeu to save our party!
