The worst cake ever. Double chocolate mud cake. Which you would expect to be lovely and moist. Absolutely not. It was hard dry and crumbly. When I took it into the store the customer service Was horrific and said that the kitchen staff said that there was nothing wrong with the cake. And that if there was an issue it could have been a result of the Uber driver. Absolutely BS. She wasn’t interested at all. I told her she could keep the cake and eat it themselves and hoped They enjoyed it!
Very yummy cake. So soft and light. Mom loved the tropical torte and the midi size was good enough for a 7-8 pieces
Got a custom single layer vanilla sponge cake with frosting for sisters 21st. The frosting tasted plastic and the sponge cake was incredibly dry. Very simple cake made very badly. Revisit your recipes please for they need a lot of improvement especially with the price we were charged $120+ was not worth the money at all. A box cake would have been 100x better but we thought we’d get something special
I don’t know why you have this rude lady picking up the phone and being mean. I called at 4:25 today and some rude Indian lady I know she’s Indian cos I am too basically cut me off while I was talking and was so rude with the way she responded. I asked if I could have a custom cake and she cuts me off while I’m speaking and goes “no”. She kept sighing like she was exhausted and I was a burden to her. She’s lucky I didn’t cuss her out on the phone with that stinky attitude. I work retail too and never act like that on the phone even if I’m tired. I was so nice to her as well. I always buy from this store and have been for many years but looks like not anymore because that one worker ruined my experience

Amazing service. Great advice from the lovely lady at the shop when we found out we needed a wedding cake with less than 24 hours notice and it was boxing day. Thank you. You saved the day for us.!!
Very poor customer service. Went to buy cake waited so long no one came to serve. One of the staff was cleaning shop was doing mopping and two other staff were following her like they were learning how to clean shop floor instead of take care of their customers who were there to buy cakes. When I ask for half size of one the cake in display the staff just said we don’t have it only this one available. Didn’t offer any other option just said we don’t have it and gone inside. Very bad experience i had. Will never go back again there.
I liked every other cheesecake shop But this one is worst shop They put sign on that this much is half as shown on pics But when asked that we want to buy half they said they can’t sell it in half! Plus the cake pieces were at wrong price slips The only reason didn’t argued with them cause To be honest the girl serving us was really good with customer service and polite
Excellent customer service... Thank you Christina. Such a wonderful display of cakes, cheesecakes, cake pops. Beautiful selection and friendly service makes this shop stand out from the others. This is definitely our go to place for beautifully made cakes.... From your black forest to your Apple crumble, mango, passion fruit cheesecakes. Mmmmm definitely something for everyone.
Thank you so much guys for making our baby’s birthday so special during lockdown. The cake turned out to be as expected and delicious. Thank you team Manukau. Appreciate all the effort you put in to making a cake as we wanted.
