My one star is for my agreement with the taste of the cake ! Definitely good. Now the 'can be better' part - If I order a half a kilo cake, I expect a round 500 gm of cake. High expectation? Obviously, for this shop. I ordered a half kilo birthday cake and I was given a half cut cake from a 1 kg cake. Not joking! look at the pics. These guys do not ask for your permission they'd do this. NO. Instead when I call up an hour before the pickup/party, they tell me this is what they'd do. I've paid for the cake, I have a party in one hour. What do you expect me to respond?  Go only if you are ordering a kg of cake or you want their pre-cut slices. Do not make the mistake I made in ordering half kilo cake.

I highly recommend cheesecake shop Pendle hill to make the cake for your Special Celebration. Inder who is the one of the staff members over here is very professional & easy to communicate with. Customised cake that she made was amazing & beautiful as per my instructions. She did a fantastic job of customised birthday cake and was super tasty :D

I really loves the cake they bake. But would suggest to keep small and medium size cakes, whenever you have a occasion they have similar cake and same size available all the time, they always think about making money.. By consider from customer point of view we cut the cakes for occasions only not to eat too much sugar for one whole week. They said to order small cake 2 days before but should be other way round to order big size cakes so it can be accountable for no of ppl attending your occasion.. not really happy with wasting money and eatable

Terrible quality, we bought a cake here for a birthday. The design has changed so much over the years it actually looks half finished now and lacks presentation. I don’t know what was wrong with the cake but it had an “off” flavour like it was bad, had the cakes for many years and this was the last straw, never coming here again. Many other places with fresher and yummier cakes  Reply 2 - Cleary we’re already in contact here why do I need to send a reply back to your email we both know you’re not going to do anything about it

We bought a delicious cake. But the service is awful. I write this after going there several times and each time it's difficult. The workers are too busy talking to themselves, reluctant to help when asked questions, and customer service in general is missing.  Next time I plan on going to another outlet, perhaps it's just this store. The cakes aren't cheap and in this economy it's sad they don't see how to add value.

The customer service was full of attitude as if they are not even willing to serve the customer forget about basic customer service skills like greeting customer respectfully or treating them well not even trying to assist properly. Sad to see that they forgotten what hospitality means.

I ordered cake for my husband and the cake was loaded with buttercream only and we were not able to eat it. On ordering I’ve only told them to cover it with buttercream nicely but they’d loaded my cake with buttercream and inside that there was very little cake. Also the cake inside was so much dry that there is extremely less amount of whipped cream and the flavour. It’s a wastage of time and money.It’s really ridiculous. In photo all the greyish black is the part of buttercream and people seeing my comment can realise how much they’ve loaded my cake with buttercream only.

Suppose to be a Fruit Flan. 1.it’s Frozen custard 2. It’s definitely not a fruit Flan 3. It’s just a sponge cake with fruit. 4. Never again

Pathetic customer service. Only Hindi speaking people can visit this place to buy cakes and others will not be served until we fight. Racist behaviour from the shopkeeper or who works there whoever it is. We lived in Penrith for 5 years and never felt like this even when we live in the middle of Australians. But Indian people are the one more racist among themselves based on language we speak. Disgusting behaviour.

Called in the morning and spoke with a girl called Mandeep to order a cake for pickup in the evening with a happy birthday written on it. Called multiple times in the afternoon to confirm it was ready but they didn't pick up the phone. When I arrived in the evening to get the cake, Mandeep denied me ever having called to order the cake and looked at me like I was crazy! I then told her which cake I wanted then she just took a cake from the front and gave it to me. Upon further questioning she told me that she had my order but I didn't tell her that I wanted a "happy birthday" written on it??  Incompetence is one thing but also lying about it is even worse. I tried to speak with the management however Mandeep said there was no manager there and as I am unable to get through via telephone, the only thing I could do was leave this review.
