last weekend, I went there to buy guinea pigs. their service are friendly and efficient, i would definitely recommend anyone to visit this place.

I have always had a passion for guinea pigs and two years ago, I decided to adopt two guinea pigs for my son. I googled rescue centres and was lucky enough to come across The Cavy Cottage. Jacinta was friendly and has such a wealth of knowledge about guinea pigs. We adopted two boys and they are amazing. We always go to the Cavy Cottage to get our food and hay and Jacinta is always keen to hear about our piggies. We now have 19 guinea pigs as every time we go into the Cavy Cottage, we find another beautiful addition to our family. If you are considering adopting a guinea pig, I highly recommend you visit the Cavy Cottage. I wish I could give 10 stars!!

We went to The Cavy Cottage yesterday with our 4 week old guinea pigs. The gentleman working there was marvellous! He was so gentle and from the way he handled the guinea pigs, I could tell that he loves them. We bought a bag of hay and our little guinea pigs had their nails trimmed and wormed. Also paid extra to have them bathed. They smelt so good after. Love this place!

If you're looking for adopting Guinea pigs look no further! Best place in town for anything Guinea pig! Great prices on supplies too, plus the owners are always willing to answer any questions you may have! It's family run and very homely!

Just picked up our much loved guinea pigs after leaving them for boarding for two weeks ,two had died while in their care; I noticed three cages had absolutely no water. I do believe both pigs died from dehydration I would highly recommend you find alternative boarding so you don,t go through pain we are experiencing now.

Love this place! Provides so many good services not available anywhere else in Brisbane, we always board our Guinea pigs here and they come back healthy and happy. We buy all our products, from outfits to hay to feed and play toys from here and they're all good quality and useful. Our pigs are healthy and so happy.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful, answered all of our questions and gave us a rundown on how to properly care for our new guinea pigs. Will definitely be returning in the future for more supplies.

The cavy cottage is such a lovely family oriented centre. The people there are a wealth of information on all things guinea pigs! They are empathetic when you have had a loss and are interested in helping you get the best match for your piggy. The owners children that help out in the store are absolutely fantastic. They all pitch in because to care for all those piggies it does take a lot of work. I'm not sure if there is pocket money earnt for the children but they have such a lovely attitude to helping people with their animals. We are fostering a young 6 month lady guinea from there at the moment and she is showing her true personality and is fitting in beautifully.  They are always happy to answer any questions and educate myself about what they have learnt over the years .

Always friendly and helpful and they genuinely care about the health and well being of all the Guinea pigs. We adopted our furry friends from here and we highly recommend them for adoptions, care, food and other related products.

I'm sure they're fantastic but they're physically shut and the only way you can get hold of them and see what pets they've got is by Facebook.... If you don't have facebook you're off to the pet shop, which is not a good feeling.  As the pet shops are morally bankrupt.
