Had a lovely lunch with friends & were most impressed. Great service in the restaurant, food presentation had more finesse than the usual pub food. Fish & chips, beef schnitzel & the roast beef. Gave four stars due to the roast beef being chewy, cut in bits rather than nicely carved across the grain. Plus, there was only 2 desserts on offer & we found the Lamington cheesecake we selected, a bit disappointing. But, it's a great menu & we will be back for sure.
My Son and I came for lunch, we ordered the Steak Sandwiches and they were Delicious, the Staff Friendly and the Service Great
Ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich. Just awful. Pic shows 'fry' on steak?! And cinnamon? Ok. Sad sister of a good venue. Oh and the chicken fried steak sandwich with no fry is over $36. I suggest you don't
Most amazing burgers we've had in ages. Awesome meal out. Cheers guys
We had a private function here over the weekend, the area was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful. The downfall was the food. The platters are so over priced for what they are, frozen cheap sausage rolls and party pies $120, frozen Asian platter $160. I must admit, the food that was served was not the standard I was expecting from a place that normally prides itself on quality. I’ve eaten in the restaurant multiple times and have never had any complaints but i definitely won’t be booking another private function there again. I also had to pay $60 an hour for a bartender to serve drinks in the function room even though it was the one TAB bar tender running between both bars.
