A very interesting venue. Perfect for seeing live bands but that is about all. The place is falling down and the lack of staff and customers is quite disturbing. The prices are very rich for such a venue and there are cheese sandwiches for food. But the band area is excellent and sound quality is awesome. Probably not going back.
I went to see my brother in law's band The Dog's Breakfast as an opening band. They played covers of bands I remember my brother in law playing in high school. Then Dtuned came on. Both bands rocked the hotel with more middle aged groupies for The Dog's Breakfast and a younger crowd for Dtuned. A very fun night for my partner and I and we both enjoyed the rum and cokes that the bar staff made for us.
Great experience, traditional pub with great tribute band.nStaff are friendly and prices are sensible.nThe only negative is it can get a little busy so go early !
Google doesn’t give five stars for workplace health and safety, but if they did, I’d give it to the bridge hotel at Roselle.nThere was previously a couch where this table and chairs are now seen. See photos and please ignore the empty pizzas boxes there not minenIf you sat down on the couch without knowing or noticing, it was easy to hit your head against the wooden ledge. This happened to me and no doubt others. As a person who is passionate about workplace health and safety I know, I didn’t think my life would pan out this way either, but it has, I would like to thank the bridge hotel for replacing it the couch with table and chairs.nI don’t know the circumstances, maybe the couch had beer and vomit all over and stunk and needed to be replaced, but nevertheless risk has been eliminated. Thank you to the person who overall this. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. The back of my head says thank you!nPS: to the Google question, How long did you wait for a table? Perhaps the correct answer is a number of years. But it was worth waiting for!nThank you and also thank you for keeping life music alive in Sydney. Models, BCO, Machinations and last night Ganggajang. Has been great.
It's a grunge joint which gives it an authentic old charm. Some interesting and unique characters frequent this place. The good thing is they get excellent & iconic bands to perform and have done so for more than 20 years . Well worth a visit.
