Decent size rooms which are kept clean and presented very well. No free shampoo or conditioner so bring your own if you want to wash your hair. Nice new toilets and shower has great water pressure but not very big so plan to shower alone. Comfy clean beds with fresh linen and fluffy pillows. Good parking and right next door to the pub for a short walk to eat dinner Walkability: Positioned right on the main St so a short walk to the cafe or shops
Have came here numerous times with larger groups to enjoy the pub meal experience following extended camping. Today I ordered ice cream from another business and was half way through finishing when I joined my friends who already ordered a mealwhich I was about to order when the older heavier set manager of the day came to the table to say I was not allowed to finish my ice cream and I had to leave the venue. Other staff said they didn’t care though this particular manager was in charge for the day. We all wanted to share a meal together before we went our seperate ways so friends ended up getting a refund and we went to another area for a friendly service at half the cost. Duly noted for future.
Great looking building and we couldn't fault my partner's steak but there's where it ends. Despite advertising they're pet friendly the area is restricted to a small number of bar stools & tables in a walkway which on this occasion were occupied by other diners thus pushing us into the gaming/smoking area out the back. The menu is very limited and in the end I chose the kids fettuccine bolognese which was sooo bland . Overall unimpressed and disappointed.

Only had a couple of beers here but it was relaxing and friendly.
EXCELLENT FOOD & {mostly} GOOD SERVICE Despite being packed out for lunch, we received our food in a reasonable amount of time - and it was excellent. Most of the servers were fast and friendly .. except for the "lady" who served our table. She was as sour as they came. Apparently she had been called back to work the morning, after finishing a shift at 1am the same day. She made it perfectly clear that she hated being there, hated the customers, and generally hated being alive. TOTALLY SOUR. Unfortunately this killed all the good which we experienced, and seemed to become the main focus of our visit .. don't order anything from the sour woman
