The Legendary Blues Train is one of Australia's most spectacular entertainment experiences - jump onboard & see for yourself!

Story

Combining a meal, four of Australia's best blues acts and a train ride along the historic Bellarine Railway, The Blues Train is a one-night mini-festival and a progressive party you will never forget!

Runs Saturday nights August - May. Additional Friday night shows in December and select months.

Terms & Conditions for Gold Pass Competition
- The winner will be provided a Gold Pass that will have 10 individual redeemable codes on it.
- Each code is equal to the cost of 2 tickets on The Blues Train.
- The 10 codes can be used to book up to 10 shows on The Blues Train during the 12 month period (1-Feb-18 until 31-Jan-19)
- The Blues Train does not run during June & July.
- Golden Pass holders must still reserve tickets through The Blues Train booking system on their website.
- Shows are subject to availability. Priority booking will not be granted to a Golden Pass holder.
- Use of the redeemable codes on the Golden Pass are the responsibility of the Golden Pass owner. Refunds for incorrect will not be given for incorrect use.
- The Gold Card and it's redeemable codes are not transferable for cash
- Any unredeemed codes at the conclusion of the travel period will expire and will not be extended
- Additional tickets may be purchased at the time of redemption (subject to availability). Standard conditions of sale apply.

After really looking forward to a special night out, I was very disappointed. For $36 per bottle of wine, I expected more. The red was average, the Chardonnay was barely drinkable and the we tipped out the Pinot Grigio. Undrinkable. Dan Murphys would have sold bottles for $5 each that were better. I switched to udl, which they couldn’t mess up. I was happy enough with the food, and Chris Wilson was great. The other performers only ok.   Way too loud. I made some earplugs out of tissue paper which helped. I noticed some of the performers wore proper plugs too. An improved sound system would alleviate the need to be so loud.  The concept of the night was good, but implementation was poor. Sack the management, and don’t be so greedy. And btw, why make people stand around for two hours before the whole night starts?  Oh yeah so they drink enough to not care that they’re being ripped.  Overall my friends and I had a reasonable night but only because we laughed at how bad it all was. We also got the security guard to keep a drunk woman from harassing us. She kept trying to drag us onto the dance floor. With accommodation (2 cheapish rooms) and drinks included, we spent about $1100 for the night out. We would have been better off hiring a chef and a band for the night. I won’t be back.

My wife and I did the blues train ride in 2005 and enjoyed ourselves so much we came back again in 2006.Both times we showed up with a bunch of friends,stayed at hotels in Queenscliff and had the time of our lives.It is so well organized and the music entertainment is always spot on.Put this unique experience on your bucket list.
