We stopped here because of the EV Chargefox located nearby, the plan was to grab some lunch while the vehicle charged. Friendly and efficient café, hot and cold snack and drink options. Indoor seating or under the verandah overlooking the landscape courtyard.
One of the best places to stop on your way heading south from Perth. Reasonable food, coffee and the cleanest of toilets.
The Sweet Chile Chicken wrap is a must try. Berry and Mint smoothie was so tasty that only for that we came back from Albany to Perth on this route.
If ever you find yourself in Kojonup then I highly recommend The Black Cockatoo Cafe. I was very surprised at how much I absolutely enjoyed eating lunch at this Cafe. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. While the decor is plain and simple it's also very relaxing both inside the Cafe and outside. The food was really good, I had a BLT and an iced coffee and both were made with lots of flavour in other words simply delicious. There is plenty of parking available and plenty of room both inside and out. It is kept beautifully clean plus The Black Cockatoo is situated at the Kojonup Arts Centre so that is an added bonus. I will definitely dine there again
This place is a must stop on the way down south, great food super friendly and honest service, good atmosphere. Family friendly. I forgot my bag on the way to Perth, called the place and they kept it for me till I got back next day. Thank you, hope to see you again,for many years to come!
Foods are good. But front desk workers should be careful before charging the money from customers. My bill was actually $24 but they charged $30. But later changed it as I reviewed, so guys be careful !!!
Excellent food , good service, midway rest stop between Perth and Albany. Playground across the road for restless kids to run around. Beautiful rose garden maze to explore next to the restaurant.
Not too bad but the food quality, value and service are way below William Woolshed. Service was quite slow. It took a while until a staff cleaned up a table for us. It took even longer to deliver the food that we ordered. Taste wise, nothing special with the food. Food portion were quite small too. Not very good value for money.
This cafe is good - and probably better than most in a country town. Breakfast finishes at 11am strictly. The food was tasty but very basic - no flair! Packet hash browns and underripe tomatoes, but good coffee. When we got there at 11am it was hard to find a clean table to sit at - there were plenty of empty tables filled with crockery. The space is a bit echoey and clinical and lacks atmosphere.
Lovely stop over on the way from Albany. Food good. Service good. Atmosphere fun.
