Just a beautiful part of the world, friendly and relaxed, highly recommend a visit. Delightful coastal walks and even a community library in the TARDIS!
Dress up time, celebrating the Jack Jumpers NBL win. Beach, shops, pay area, great revitalisation of the main Street!
The Big Penguin is a street ornament that was erected in 1973. The street scape in Penguin is fantastic with a street library box, bike paths,parks and near by cafe's and shops.
Fantastic beach good kids play ground. Has an out side shower to wash off at. Nice walk down good views. They have a community free library that is in the shape of a tardis, was really fun and cute. The big Pinguin statue was dressed in a santa jacket for December this was really fun for the holidays. I didn't find a change room close by or even a bathroom but I may of missed it. Would recommend a stop by to take in the view and a rest. Food and shops on the other side of the road.
Adorable town, it is clear the locals are passionate about keeping up their 'penguin-obsessed appearance as there are penguin objects everywhere. The bollards, bins, decor, and statues are all penguins. I would have liked to visit on an occasion to see the big penguin dressed up, but I got to see it in all its glory regardless. Highly recommend this sweet little coastal town.
