A very impressive piece of public art. The reflection of the Chicago skyline is otherworldly. I came on a weekday morning. The park wasn't too crowded. From here, you can walk down the waterfront by several paths with a lot of public art to see along the way.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The Bean is probably one of the most photographed iconic structures in the Chicago area and I believe it rightfully is. I was just awed by it as it reflects all the buildings and people around it. The place is easy to find and there are a lot of things to see around as it sits inside Millenium Park which is an equally picturesque place. Anyone visiting Chicago should not miss this!
Cloud Gate also known as The Been is a very popular location for tourist and everyone else as there is a lot of space around the been. It’s also a popular spot for photos as you can get many great shots of the been and reflections on it and more around it. I have been to the been a few times now while in Chicago and always enjoy coming here as it is also in Millennium park and has lots to do. I will definitely come back here again when I am in Chicago
THE BEAN. WOW. Chicago is a place to visit! We went a couple weeks ago for 10 days, and it was 40 degrees - we love the heat. The Bean is so iconic, it’s a perfect place to act like a tourist! It’s free, but parking in Chicago is through the roof.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
“How do you rate a bean?” Is what my girlfriend just asked after seeing it last week and it being in my recent locations. Well, let me tell you. This is a GREAT bean. Like a 10 on 10 bean. In all honesty, I didn’t care to see this bean at first but was told you have to when your in Chicago. We walked to this bean with a coffee one morning and once we got there I completely understood why it’s an attraction. The mirror of it is cool, seeing everyone looking around being happy is awesome, everyone is just like awww cool this bean! Walking under it was fun, this bean was surprisingly one of the many very enjoyable things we did on our trip! Great bean, would go again. The rest of the park is also nice from what we saw.
This place is beautiful. An iconic space to check out if you set your foot in Chicago and in the Midwest in general. It's pretty save and it being in downtown makes it easier to walk to it. There are places to sit and watch the beautiful blend between nature and modern city of Chicago.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Needs to be wiped down, but other than that it's the bean! It's beautiful and such a great photo op in and off itself. Can't go wrong going to the beanVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The iconic bean! It's exactly that, much larger than I was expecting, but very cool to see while in Chicago. I recommend going very early to avoid crowds, we went around 7am and barely had anyone in the background for our pictures.Visited onWeekday
I always visit The Bean while in Chicago. It’s free. And it’s really easy to get to. It’s in Millennium Park. It’s weird and really reflective. The “game” at The Bean is to take a picture of it with you as the only person reflected in the picture. It’s really hard to do. On any sunny day there are always people everywhere around The Bean. Another rule of the “game” is that you can’t ask anyone to move. They must move on their own. I know I haven’t been able to beat the game at the Bean. I don’t know if anyone has.
The bean was filthy. This was my 3rd trip to Chicago and Millennium Park and I've never seen the bean so dirty! There were hands prints all over it, looked like someone threw paint on the underneath part, and trash all over. Went on a Monday and it was packed.Visited onWeekday
