I stopped by the beach shack today. It has a good vibe, next to the caravan park and a short walk to the beach.  For its location and amenities I am sure it does well. I have been around Beachmere backwards and forwards as my aunt lived here for more than 30 years.  To be honest I didn’t set a huge expectation coming from South and East Brisbane, but the service was good, the staff are friendly, and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s stale, or burnt.  I drink a lot of coffee and while not it’s primary purpose the staff do make an OK cup.

Had a quick lunch here, food was amazing and the team were lovely! Will absolutely be returning!  I took a photo of the current menu if that helps anyone

What a great spot! Staff provide service with a smile and the portions are very generous. There are plenty of anchor points for leads at the outside tables, as well as a water bowl, so furry friends are welcome. Looking forward to our next meal there.Food: 5/5

The Beach Shak has excellent service and amazing food. The coffee is always extremely good, and the service has always been fantastic. I've tried quite a number of items on their menu already, and I can't wait to return to try more.

Wonderful service and filling good. We got excellent service from a friendly young girl. She was really kind when I changed my order around and ordered different things like lime and banana milkshakes.  I had a mocha, which was smooth and not too sweet. Eggs Benny with great sauce and the big breakfast, which was huge! I would recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty breakfast, fun service and a pick me up for the day.

The sweet potato jumble was absolutely delicious. Great vegetarian breakfast or a great option if you are cutting out bread. Huge  serving too.

Lovely little cafe. Friendly staff and the owner Chris was terrific.. Took mum and had milkshakes and corn fritters. A must try.!!!

Great place to have breakfast or lunch. Very resonably priced with great service and a friendly atmosphere.  The new managers are really taking the cafe forward in a great way. I had a coffee and bacon and eggs this morning that were cooked to my liking.

It was a really relaxing atmosphere with excellent staff and great food. If you are fan of eating eggs benedict; I would highly recommend it. The eggs were perfect, with a beautiful piece of ham, and the right amount of hollandaise sauce. After eating the staff advised that the behind the cafe there was a beautiful view of the ocean, and they were not wrong! I will definitely be coming back.
