How can anyone not understand country hospitality . quiche was excellent . This is a must see and experience for locals who have not experienced peace and tranquillity . Just 25 minutes from Midland beautiful roads , explore perth its free to drive anywhere in this beautiful state .
Great coffee and breakfast. We had the veggie burger and eggs benny wrap.
Cafe was undergoing renovations so the menu was limited to pies or a wrap. That being said the food we had was tasty and the coffee was good. Will go again once the renos are done.
Carrot cake was really delicious. Lumberjack cake looked inviting but was dry. Disappointing. Coffee was fine. Service was prompt, but could have been much more friendly. Considering this was dine-in, not takeaway, I expected to be served with proper crockery and cutlery, not on paper plate with wooden fork and coffee in paper takeaway cup. Neither my wife or I enjoyed eating cake with a wooden fork, and then being required to dispose of said utensils ourselves - as per photo. I hope proprietors will take this review on board. An integral part of running a Cafe is 'HOSPITALITY'. I certainly didn't leave feeling as though i had received much if any
Lovely cafe in the hills. Nothing to fault, well worth the trip as there are some great rides/drives in the area. Good lunch spot.
Lovely owners who served up a wonderful meal despite us arriving nearing their closing time. Definitely recommend their seafood basket and cakes.
I want to tell you about an unpleasant experience I had today. I ordered a quiche and a small flat white. I got the quiche first and didn't receive coffee for a while, so I checked with the staff and She said I didn't order coffee. Yes, anyone can make mistakes. I again ordered a small flat white at the counter. And I got it in a big cup. Have you ever thought that there must be a reason why a customer ordered a small? It's because I can't sleep when I drink a too much coffee. A watery flat white with a thin, burnt taste. Naturally, I left my coffee and left the store. Because drinking muddy water didn't meaning to me. There were two mistakes, but none of them apologized. I just wanted to hear you say Im sorry. I wasted my time and money and even messed up my mood. I will never come back.
Service was pleasant. The last sausage roll available was very dry. We should have waited for the fresh batch from their oven. They made me a salad sandwiche which was very nice and fresh. This place also stocks an interesting range of new age products. Such as clearing sprays, essential oils, incense, books, leather journals , white sage and palo Santo sticks and trinket boxs and more. I got myself a little wooden trinket box
Delicious food and charming, friendly staff. Perfect coffee. The barista is 2nd to none
Eggs Benedict wasn't great, far too much hollandaise slapped on it and I couldn't see the food under it and also wasn't worth the money I paid. The lady behind the counter seems lovely but could probably wear a smile for new customers like myself. I noticed she wore the smile for some people who probably frequented your venue. She knew exactly what they wanted when they came in and engaged in friendly conversation with them. She hardly said boo to me. I'll be back to buy another choc caramel slice which was lovely. I've been there a number of times and never get a smile or a hullo from her.
