Got the Best of Bavaria set menu and it didn't disappoint. Haus-made pretzel, pork belly, pork knuckle, sausages schnity, sauerkraut and mash and the kids loved the apple strudel and ice cream to finish. Service was really fast and the team were friendly, great setting and really quiet on a Saturday for lunch. Only thing that could have made it better was the jug of soft drink was all ice and no drink, but the rest was spot on.
Casual alfresco dining with sea breezes and laid back atmosphere. Great selection of German beers in 500ml and 1lt options. The salad was intresting and ticked the German restaurant essential. Added to pork belly on the side and my meal was complete. Table orders through an app which didn't work but service staff were happy to take my order from the counter. There was a bit of a wait for food to come to the table but overall, a nice experience.
Yum. I had a chicken schnitzel. It was spicier than I expected. Was delicious! I couldn't eat the jalapeno aoli was just to hot for me but I didn't need it anyway. The slaw was yummy and the potato jems were cooked perfect. The chips had by others on the table looked good too. Staff were friendly. The ordering system via QR code was great. Food came out quick. A rare 5 stars from me.
We spotted this place on the first day in Maroochydore and fancied trying the All You Can Eat - Meat Wednesday special. So two days later, we skip breakfast and rock up to The Bavarian for the All YouCan Eat, determined to give it a good go. As you can see from the photos..... You had better be hungry! Along with the Stein of Lager, we shared everything Added the Chips, mash, salad so not to miss out on anything and started hoing into it...... the more we dug in, the more there seemed to be still to eat. I have seen a couple of reviews complaining about portion sizes..... believe me, there was more than enough here...... in fact we did leave quite a bit as we just could not fit in another morsel. So, it seems Happy hour and the Wednesdays specials knock visiting here outta the park and I know, we will be raving about the place when we get back to Perth. Thank you to the Staff who were wonderful.
Absolutely wonderful venue, staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. In specially Tati who accommodate us to a seating of our preference. There is an outdoor and indoor seating option, with stunning views of the canal. Food came out super fast, fresh, delicious and plentiful. We ordered pretzels, potato gems, pork knuckle, mashed potatoes and red sauerkraut, all of which were delicious and hot. The Bavarian at Sunshine Plaza was absolutely worth the visit, and we'd love to return soon.
Great service, great beer, good food. The new over the top menu is good, thought the burger would be bigger though.
Every time we go to sunshine coast, this is our go to place! We decided to drive up here and spent the Father’s Day lunch. It was delicious, was worth the wait! Highly recommend the pork crackling! Lovely service, Vicky and the other ladies were wonderful. Had a chips on the house cos we’ve got kids. That service alone tells you they are looking after you esp when you’ve got kids Food, drinks, service, ambience were all good! Had a bit of wait but worth it
Best German food and real German beer I’ve had in a very long time! Beautiful atmosphere, great vibes, and service like clockwork. My friend and I went to lunch right at the lunch rush and the staff was serving and seating people so efficiently, it was impressive to watch. Our server was outstanding as well. Ordering through QR code just makes everything so much pratical. I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and go eat there!
Unfortunately there were a few issues with our family birthday dinner including unavailability of some beers and meals but the fantastic and friendly staff made up for this and ensured that we were all well looked after. Every one of the bar and hospitality staff went above and beyond to do what they could for us despite the problems that were out of their control. The management really need to address those issues before we dine there again.
Daily special offers for meat lovers and bear drinkers. The service was great and could not fault anything. It was quiet when we were in, however I believe this would be a great place in the evenings and food quality was also brilliant. Only down side was the access to toilets which are in the Mexican in the adjacent restaurant and were for from clean and no toilet paper. Hence not giving 5 stars.
