"MUSIC, BAR, RESTAURANT.Canberra’s premier live music venue. The Baso Canberra hosts some of the biggest touring acts, 2 stages, pool tables, pinball machines, 3 bars with a selection of quality beers and tasty food from Chompys. Most importantly, our staff are some of the friendliest and welcoming around. We aim to be open until 10pm each night but this may vary depending on gig nights or quiet evenings. I think its the last true bar in town with a soul. Wish it wasnt on the other side of town for me personally. Good pub food. Dedicated to live music.Relaxed atmosphere with side order of mayhem.
No better place for live bands, great games of pool, caramel vodka , awesome selection of food, pinball and to top it all off, awesome staff. Doesn't get any better. Canberra's version of the Hardrock Cafe only 10x more awesome!!!

Great venue! Plenty of pool tables to play on and a super awesome array of pinball machines! Great area for live music in the back! Went for open mic night stand up comedy! Was a great night out!!!
