A very pleasant hotel with friendly attentive staff and modern comfortable dining area. Plenty of excellent meals to choose from all reasonably priced with also a good selection of daily specials. I always feel relaxed dining there and find the wine selection perfect.

There was a group of us(5), We ordered three different meals, Two, fish & chips, Two squid, and myself, Pork. The fish and chips passed, just!! way too much batter witch left the fish a bit greasy, . The squid was pale and undercooked. My pork chop was tender and just cooked perfect. The crisps served with it wear meant to be home made, but if you putt plane potatto chips on their, they may have had more taste! The salad, plastered with capers was sour and did not go with the pork, . Over all we left $250 dollars poorer,(drinks included,no deserts) and a sour tast in our mouths, won't be back for a few months.Very disappointed.

Just had the Sword fish special on their menu and it was a really great meal. The service from the waitresses and also behind the bar should be mentioned as well. The Barker is the pub/restaurant with a bit of the extras you don't normally get from others....
