Great atmosphere and great food and coffee

Friendly staff and great service, coffee served with a smile. Plenty of seating inside during a quiet weekday, and room out the front on the street too. Food was standard cafe fare, not outstanding but quite nice and a good menu variety. On the expensive side, but not outrageous and definitely on par with Melbourne prices.

Terrible experience! My friend and I ordered something off the menu and asked for it to not have the egg that was described in it. The waitress said okay to that with a flippant attitude. When she came back with the meal it had egg in it, despite her affirmative to not having it when taking our order. My friend complained about this, then the same waitress promptly took the meal away, several minutes later a different male staff member returned it to our table. His attitude was much more professional and polite to us as customers, however the meal was the same meal as was taken away with scraps of somewhat removed somewhat left behind egg still in it. As we went to pay, the first waitress was was at the register and was haughty, rude, and snobby toward us. We will certainly not be returning, and will suggest a number of better cafes to all of our friends and family.

Do not go past the mushroom burger, delicious. The staff are really friendly too.
