I first discovered AUROMA in 2012. I have frequented and made regular purchases since then. I should have written this review many years ago! Nonetheless, this review has been 10 years in the making, so now on my - and AUROMA's 10th "ALUMINIUM ANNIVERSARY" - here is my detailed and authentic review based on years of interactions with the business and its staff. PRODUCTS = 10/10 I have used Essential and Aromatic Oils in both my home and office for approximately 30 years. Over that time, I have used numerous brands and am confident in stating that AUROMA's oils are of excellent quality. I have often found that same labelled oils from other suppliers are inferior to AUROMA's. RANGE = 10/10 Michael, the Owner, Operator and Curator of AUROMA's selection has compiled a mammoth collection of significant breadth and scope. You will definitely find what you are seeking at AUROMA. EXPERTISE = 10/10 I reckon I've been served by every staff member, who has ever worked within the store of AUROMA. I find the in-depth and often technical knowledge demonstrated by the staff next to none. Staff has fielded my numerous queries over the years including specifics on: - Origin - Constituent Ingredients - Concentration - Purity - Efficacy - Volatility - Viscosity - Uses - Benefits The team has always proved to be expert in their field, and moreover, they have always eagerly revelled in helping me. That's definitely an earmark of customer service excellence. CUSTOMER SERVICE = 100/10!!! The entire team exceeds in every aspect of Customer Service. Whats more, they are also adept at dealing with complex enquiries a=s well as challenging customers. FACIT: I have both academic as well as professional grounding in communication, so I well understand that difficulties of High Conflict Personalities that confront those working in the retail sectors as well as customer facing roles. The team here is mature, they have families and are good, honest, warm and welcoming people. I have, on occasion, witnessed inappropriate behaviour by customers ranging from uncalled impatience to passive aggressiveness and aggressiveness. I have seen the staff look after every customer with kindness, respect and common decency. I call out to every person who ever witnesses any transgression against staff from small to large whilst visiting any store across our globe to STAND UP and SPEAK UP to protect the rights of those exposed to inappropriate behaviour. Please don't remain a BYSTANDER. By remaining silent during the transgression, we send a message of approbation. It is only by clearing defining acceptable behaviour as well as immediately communicating clear boundaries that we continue to exist as a productive society. A great variety of essential oil and other bases for DIY beaty products. A huge selection of diffusers. Trust worthy and knowledgeable staff on duty at all time ready to give advice. I have been going there for not only their oils but also their soap bases.
Made a custom scent in less than 10mins. Asked for 'the smell of the French revolution ' They crushed it. Friendly too

Good quality and variety of products. Very knowledgeable staff. They should get rid of the makeup as it cheapens what they are selling and they are clearly focused on selling items not on sale since they put a couple of items on special out back and you had to ask for them.
This is the perfect place if you are looking for essential oils & personal care products! The staff are very friendly & the price is reasonable. I love how they are also very knowledgeable in explaining the products & their uses.

I have shopped at Auroma since the shop was opened at Hawthorn through out this time I have seeing many changes and faces, Auroma a few years ago was sold, I was devastated, however, it was bought back by the previous owner... I was happy so happy to hear the news. Auroma's customer service it's amazing I have always been welcome, with a kiss and hug by Michael, Carol and the rest of the rest of the staff , when in doubt they assist me with the products. Prices are affordable the oils are exquisite to blend with massage oils/face moisturizer/shampoos etc. I highly recommend this amazing shop most important "Auroma's Customer Service brings a happy atmosphere that I don't want to leave". Thank you for the many decades you have served me!
