My partner and I went to AQWA because we had nothing to do on the weekend and we had a great time! Found entry a little pricey but it's expected for a place like this. There was a lot of info to read about all the different species in the aquarium and we loved the walk through Aquarium. It is definitely worth a visit if you are thinking of going.

I really enjoy AQWA, and I believe it had more potential to be better if it were bigger. I'm what's underwhelmed by it's size; you could probably cover everything in 20 minutes. I'm not saying it's a bad time, it's just that one you've been there once, you probably don't need a second visit. My Little One loves it, so it's getting a 4 stars because it's great for who it is mainly aimed at.

Not too bad, I visited with my family and they enjoyed it. I have a year long membership to the National Aquarium of New Zealand and this is almost as good. Alot of stairs so be aware if you need assistance some areas are not accessible as the elevator won't reach them. Overall a good range of fish and other sea life. Worth a visit.

My wife and I have been to Aqwa a few times over the years. This time we decided to take a peek behind the curtain with the guided Behind the Scenes tour. It was a great decision and we thoroughly enjoyed the little mysteries and inner workings of the grounds. For every tank you see there is a myriad of extra things going on behind them. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable, answering any questions we had with ease. Seeing the fish without the glass and the aquariums themselves makes you appreciate the time, dedication and love that goes into this place. I highly recommend checking out the Behind the Scenes. And the included day pass is such an added bonus. Especially since you will have a better understanding about how everything works after the tour!

Really gorgeous and interesting place to go to see all the underwater wonders you can imagine, even crocodiles! But honestly it's a very great place for a date or with the family. There's a cafe and a gift shop also, aswell as an outside area where you can see fish and starfish in pools!
