Just brilliant. Food was amazing, beer and wine list extensive, service faultless. Treads a brilliant line being both relaxed and welcoming yet professional and attentive. Best dinner we’ve had in ages, can’t wait to come back.
I have always wanted to enjoy a beer at this place and today by chance I had this opportunity! The reason why I have wanted to enjoy a drink here was because it looked so traditional from the outside. Perched on the top of Spring Hill, with city glimpses, I wasn't disappointed when I walked in. The restaurant looked amazingly set out in a small area and the bar was kept in mostly its orginal style. It certainly had that old feel. Bar service was prompt friendly and knowledgeable. Beer, wine and sprite selection is plentiful. Absolutely a must pub traditionalists.
This is a great stop for a meal and a drink. The waitresses were lovely and served us at our table for the night. The food was good and pricing seems fair. There was a nice atmosphere that was slightly dark and no loud music - I really liked this place.
A beautiful, heritage-listed pub which is unpretentious but retains the elegance of its youth. We were greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed a few shared entrees instead of main meals. Would be nice to have more wines offered by the glass but were happy with the selection. Will definitely be back!
Classic pub meal in Spring Hill, nothing fancy but gets the job done! Cold beer and a nice steak are all you need
We had dinner here, most people were okay with their meals but the chicken palmy was terrible. Chicken was pulverised and there was more batter than chicken. Very over priced for the food we received. We waited for almost an hour for food. The wait staff were super friendly and the space was nice. There was a beautiful bar but we weren't allowed to order at it, table service only. Probably won't be back.
Thank you to Jordy and the team for delivering a perfect event for our group gathering. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and the service was faultless. The downstairs area is well suited to a group gathering for 30 people.

Beautiful 1800’s pub, in great condition in a good spot in Spring Hill. Very aesthetically pleasing with its old world charm. I have visited quite a few times and recommend a drink in the bar followed by a restaurant quality meal in the dining area.
Not only was our meal great, and the staff exceptional and very attentive but the beautiful and very kind staff member Nikki offered to drive myself and my husband who was unwellback to our apartment as we had been waiting a while for a taxi. Thank you so very much it was extremely kind of you tell your boss you need a raise you are a gem 5
