Thank you Alfred Emergency for everything you did for me today with helping me with my nerve injury. A very swift emergency experience from being seen in main department to going to emergency short stay. Even in hard times we always have such a positive experience here. Over the years we have been a few times and always have been looked after with the highest standard. In particular we have had Claire in emergency a few times, she is beyond wonderful and always so positive and bubbly. She is so knowledgeable! Such a great hospital, we always get seen so quickly!
I was admitted to the A&E. The hospital staff were very accommodating and informative. Most importantly, they kept me alive. Easy 5/5 for me.
I woke up on Monday morning with the left side of my face paralyzed and thought I was having a stroke. I checked into the Alfred ED at 9:30am and was taken immediately to a clean bed and within minutes I was being assessed by nurses and a physician who were absolutely amazing. They stabilized my blood pressure and within the hour had taken scans of my neck and brain and blood samples. The physician stayed with me and gently explained my condition and gave me advice on how to manage it. By 2:30pm I was discharged with prescription medication and detailed paperwork for my GP. I would like to extend my absolute gratitude towards the entire staff at the Alfred who took amazing care of me and were able to provide me with an accurate diagnosis.
I have been in many times with skating injuries. The staff are always so friendly and caring, it is honestly the best hospital I have ever been to including private.nThey always ensure the best result and care for ongoing injuries.nnThank you to all the team for all of your help over the years!nnTrent
