Beautiful family run cafe located in what looks to be an old corner store. Quiet spot, nicely decorated interior with some artwork available for sale. Menu had a good range of options from some classics to a few dishes with a twist. We stopped in with the kids for lunch and had a coffee and veggie wrap. Wrap was made up fresh and packed with delicious fillings. Kids had the kids old school style cheeseburger which was a good size and served on a nice soft bun with some fries. We all thought our food was delicious. Coffee was great too. Service was quick and no fuss. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Absolutely loved it! My eggs Benedict were beautiful - crispy croissant, perfect cooked eggs, nice sauce. The fritters were amazing too with an extra of chorizo. Coffees were also good. Dog friendly outside.
Love the all-day breakfast menu. Not many places in Sydney do Hong Kong style french toast - so that's already a win in itself. The combination of sweetness from the maple syrup and crunchy texture of the peanut butter to go with crispy, toasty exterior, works so well - a major highlight and must-try! Coffee is impeccable.
Had brunch here with a friend last week and we we were impressed by the dining experience. Food was enjoyable, staff efficient and vibe was inviting. Definitely will be a regular here.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and beverage. Hot chocolate was just the perfect amount of sweetness. Kids pancake was a bit dense but very visually appealing. The cheeseburger wasnt too heavy with the broiche bun and pickles. Fries are very crunchy. The bao buns were delicious but felt like was missing a bit of something to cut through the sauce.
If you are passionate about coffee, do your self a favor and try their macchiato. If you want to be; see a beautiful, cozy, with great style place, check the alchemist espresso. Food, excellent; try the smash avo. Authentic service. Please smile more for Aussy spoiled customers. Again; today in Dec 2022, the barista is an artist And food is delicious
Excellent coffee. A nice strong brew and well made. I’ve tried all the Cammeray cafes and I rate the Alchemist as having the best coffee. Food very well done and presented. They do great chips! It’s also dog friendly with plenty of outdoor tables. Service is friendly Kid-friendliness: Outside tables. Cute kids menu Parking: Easy street parking
This is one of my favourite cafes. It's got such a good relaxed quiet vibe. The sweet treats in the cabinet cinnamon scrolls cookies etc are amazing. The coffee is great too. I can't remember what brand they pour here. I would definitely recommend stopping in here for coffee and or breakfastFood: 5/5
I have been to this café twice. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. It’s a small café on a quiet Cammeray street. They do have a couple of larger tables inside but it’s mainly little tables for two or three outside, so be wary of weather conditions when going would not be good on rainy or extremely sunny/hot days. The food is excellent and they do all day breakfasts which is great if like me, you love brunch! I had to make a swop with one of my meals as I don’t eat pork and had the bulgogi instead and it was great. Highly recommended.
Been to this place a couple of times now and it’s such a cute place! Very welcoming, a local gem. The cafe is also visually appealing. The staff are lovely, and the food was great - have had the avo smash & a chicken sandwich, both of which were amazing. The coffee is also very good, which is a rarity in Sydney
