Nice rustic place to enjoy the experience. Very limited menu in my opinion. However I ordered Cuban sandwich and chips for lunch and it was delicious. Beautiful crust and awesome taste. Loved it. Chips were good too.
The place was suggested by our host in orange and though when you are traveling to it it doesn't seem much and you stop at a shed just off the Mitchell highway wondering what's the hype about.. but as soon as you enter the place you know it's got that local wonder happening all around . As the name went I opted for a vegan option and my partner ordered the day's pie and both were lovely but the veganator with the vegan bacon and the maple candied crumb is something I could travel three hours for.. it's out of this world and absolutely a must try.. who knew vegan could be so delicious!! You can also try the local beer and array of local gin and wines and do a a bit of local shopping as well while in there. Also while you walk out you could pick up gifts for your mates back home..
Very nice little café with slightly non-typical road-side menu. Very tasty food. Friendly and prompt staff. Coming here all the time we are in Orange and it never disappoints.
They don't have anything vegan on their breakfast menu but were able to adjust their avo on toast to remove the non vegan options and add house made vegan bacon, roasted tomatoes and macadamia ricotta. Delicious! Would be good to have an actual vegan option on the breakfast menu though :
Pleasant and friendly environment. Great coffee and toasted cheese and ham croissants. Kids loved the hot chocolate drinks. Ample parking on site. Great wine choices for those looking to service their hydraulic system. Will be back.
Claimed no tables available, yet well into lunchtime 5 x tables not set for service. Wr ordered takeaway and whilst waiting a couple walked in no reservation but were given a table. When questioned on it male staff lied they had a booking. We were right beside the other couple when the couple stated they had no booking. Food and groceries on the pricey side and service bring the rating down. Also just found our Take away order beef pattie is half cooked.
WOW - the most delicious breakfast and coffee I have had in a long time. The shop adjoining is wonderful - food, alcohol and gifts. A must do when in Orange!
A rustic looking building , but well maintained. Must try is their recovery feast, enjoy most is the hash brown
I have literally just left this place and it's fantastic! Such a cute rustic ambience with delicious food my pancakes were divine, AMAZING COFFEE had to get an extra one for takeaway and friendly and efficient service. My meal arrived quickly, as did my coffees. Sweet little grocer as well, although on the pricey side. The menu is limited expectations managed as I looked up the menu beforehand but I was very happy with my meal. Would definitely recommend!
This is a very pleasant cafe to visit, just a couple of kms out of town. Inside and outside seating with small and large tables. We had nice lunchtime snack / meal. Not too large and a fair price. Good, quick service. Tea and coffee plus a range of local beers and wines. There is also a produce shop to browse around.
