Story

The Acorn on Forest is situated on Forest Road in The Basin, at the foot of the majestic Dandenong Ranges. A cosy venue with a British feel, the Acorn is perfect for little get-togethers, office functions and wedding receptions. Relax in our lounge, catch a glorious sunset from the balcony, warm yourself by an open fire, or simply enjoy a drink at our fully licensed bar.

Your host Tony Eastwood, manager Darren, and friendly staff will attend to your every need and ensure that your visit to the Acorn on Forest is both pleasurable and memorable.

Great food and relaxed atmosphere. Also has a cool outside decking area. We we're here on a Wednesday and they have discounts on most meals.

Big thanks to Lisa and the team, we hosted a birthday party in the beer garden behind the venue and it was a great space.  The team looked after us and provided great food and bar service and they were happy to help with anything.  Would highly recommend.

Nice and cosy. The food was good and promptly served.  Staff were very friendly. When they knew it was our wedding anniversary,  they gave us complimentary glasses of wine. Will come back for more
