Wow what a amazing hidden gem in Nerang. I have seen lot's of recommendations to go here on local Facebook pages and decided to give it a go for a birthday dinner. Very simple online ordering system for takeaways- would definitely eat in next time but Origin was on, and the place was packed out. We ordered a huge range of different dishes to try, including green curry Thai hot and everything was delicious. Located in a small group of shops behind the main street in Nerang with limited parking available and also some off street parking. Dishes are very good sized and reasonably priced for what you get. Dishes we ordered were all pretty good, we really liked the chicken feet and grilled pork neck in particular.nnThey also offered free pineapples with seasoning at the front, which is pretty generous! Also only $5 for each pineapple which is a STEAL because it’s the juiciest pineapple we’ve ever tasted in AustraliannFresh fruits available at the front to purchase too.
This is a very unique restaurant. The decoration part is very attentive. All the dishes were delicious, except for the satay skewers, the meat was cold and perfect and tasteless.
We were so wrong thinking the portion would be small Everything was so tasty and flavourful. Hands down to the fish, service and the whole experience. Also something to note, food came really fast!
Food: flavor and ingredients are exactly authentic Thai. We loved the flavor BUT they use low quality pork mice mixed with tough pork and ligament. Highly recommend the restaurant change butcher. We ordered kapow moo and laab moo, couldn’t finish them because of the mystery mixnnWe ordered chicken & sticky rice. They were served lukewarm, not hot. Understand the restaurant need to pre prep food for many customers but sticky and chicken were not hot and got cold already soon as other food came out. The chicken thigh was was reheated till drynnThe second time we were there, we ordered chicken fried rice & chicken pad thai. Food tasted good, good flavor, but they use Chicken Thighs for both dishes and not chicken breast as any other restaurants would normally do.nn2 out of 2 of disappointing meats. We won’t come back sorrynnService: nobody was there to take us to the table, bring the menu, or check if the food was ok :
