I have to say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I often visit. The food is always fresh, very tasty and the staff are fantastic. The photo attached soon just goes to prove the above, just couldn’t wait to get stuck into the yummy food. Delicious
This was my go-to Thai place in South Canberra. But recently the food has been disgusting. The chicken dish I had was rubbery and floating in a pool of water. The green curry was also very watery with minimal flavour and vegetables. Like a lot of the comments on here, this place is very hit and miss.Food: 1/5
I enjoyed a quick meal at Thai Som Tum. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. I was also impressed with the complimentary Curry puffs. Highly recommend
Great food, great service, great price. This is a staple for delicious, healthy takeaway and nice, dinner in a lovely open room. Yet to have a bad meal here, and the take away and dine in dishes are always a generous serve. Make sure you try the off-menu prawn and eggplant entré. Be a good role model for your kids and cone here.
Only second time ordering from here. Ordered well in advance for delivery for 630. Was over 40 mins late. Food was obviously cooked on time cause it arrived cold. First round order was delicious. This order was very bland with sub par flavours. Very hit and miss food. Won't return.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Should have read the reviews before visiting and ordering. Was very disappointed with the dishes we ordered. Fried rice. Very nice full of flavour was the only.reason we didn't leave hungry. Masamun curry beef Bloody awful I don't know what spice it was that really made this dish suck but whatever it was we left the entire thing. Salt and pepper squid. No where near the mark on This one I'm afraid. Overcooked tastless pieces of Ruberised squid. Wanton soup. Yeah was OK but not something I'd travel to get. Overall I doubt we will be back here especially if you know what authentic Thai is supposed to be like. The chef here is only pretending to be Thai as far as I'm concerned.
Amazing vegetarian pad kee mao! Ordered it twice last week . Lovely staff!
A nice thai feed in the lanyon valley. I recommend try the satay. It is peanut style satay. Staff freindly. Prices were ok. I will be back.
Great prices, delish Green curry especially the duck and byo is great. Family and I regularly session.
