Disclaimer: I only had takeaway, and it was crap. Worst Thai ever. Like if the cooks are Thai or Vietnamese they should be ashamed to call the food Thai. To reproduce their national cuisine in this way? Wow... The green curry was essentially green coloured water, almost flavourless and more of a soup. Pad Thai had more in common with Singapore noodles than anything Thai. We had a mixed seafood cashew nut stir fry and there was one prawn and I have no idea what else was there. Again flavourless. Rice, as in even steamed rice was undercooked and very sticky. The vegetables were also almost raw. This was ridiculous. There are so many other Thai places in Darlinghurst and Surry Hills that are miles ahead than this place. Seriously abysmal. I cannot think of anything redeeming about our order. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Don't judge a book for its cover. Best Thai restaurant in Sydney.. and I've visited lots! Friendly staff and good prices. Highly recommend the Tom kha gai and the fried rice. Worth the visit!
While this place may look like a dive Thai joint, the food is good enough to be on at any five star restaurant. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and it was the best I've ever had anywhere in the world.
expensive, small amount of protein in the main dish, taste average, little on the sweet side. if you are in the area and have to have thai food then I guess its not a bad place to go.
Not much atmosphere, but the food is great. I really did enjoy the satay vegtables and pad thai. This is excellent value thai food!
Refusing to deliver me food that I paid for, and then when I ask for my money back and then being refused this, and then have their staff start to babble and through in they don't understand English and end the call on me without delivering the food I paid for, or offering me a refund for the food I didn't get that I paid for is an utter DISGRACE.
The food is fine but the place is unkempt, they don't accept payment via cards and the staff were almost too busy eating to serve me - the lady taking my money almost handed me the spring roll she still had in her hand instead of my change...really!!!
Food was bland. Place felt a little grubby. Alright for quick bite at lunch but better options around
Food is good. Can bring your own alcohol. Pad see iew is tasty
$10 lunch special with a drink is great. Very friendly staff, always come back
