From the moment I walked in, I was nicely greeted. The space is wonderful, the food decadent and the service wonderful. Highly recommended if you live in the area or pass by.

I love the food at Thai Kanteen and their kindest people. I’ve been there a few times and always try something different - believe me, every single dish is beautiful, simply delicious! One of the best restaurants I’ve been in Sydney

We each had a duck salad and a glass of wine each. It was very fresh and tasty but  took 25 mins. Would have been nice to have been served some bread while we waited. Had to ask for water.  Wheelchair accessibility: Premises at street level.

The food is always excellent, the service is so typical. Thai people are just so polite.  We go there regularly for our take aways. 10/10 for us !!

Well well, try this restaurant first time very clean & comfortable, we had betel leaf with cooked prawn, then ordered green curry chicken, and prawn fried rice, the prawns was small in the fried rice, portions was small and wow $31 they charge, for a asian restaurant this is more then a 5 star hotel omg, very $$$$ for Thai food,Food: 2/5

We ordered take it. Now as an experience Thai food eater in Sydney. I can tell you this. It was very very average and expensive for what you Get. We went inside the restaurant to pick it up, not surprisingly the average age is 60 years plus for dinner. We had the fish cake, the green curry, the curry puff pretty standard stuff and for these to be of non satisfactory standard, well you get the gist.Not sure why people on here recommend it as one of the best, certainly not.

One of the best , if not the best Thai restaurants that we have visited. Everything about Thai Kanteen is just that bit better. The layout with fresh white tablecloths the beautiful crockery show you the attention to detail that has been taken to make experience first class. There are plenty of dishes to suit everyone,all freshly prepared. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are our favourites and we return whenever for them whenever we are in Mosman, such as tonight. Make sure you book a table well in advance as it is super popular and walk ins will be disappointed.

Have been going here for nearly as long as I remember, and  the service is always polite and friendly. They have all the standard thai dishes, green chicken curry, pad thai etc - all good but they also have a few stand-out specials. Dishes aren't too cheap however the quality and freshness of the ingredients comes through.

We recently stayed at the Albert Hotel in Mosman for 5 nights. On our first night we had take away from Thai Kanteen and it was the best thai food we have eaten. It was so good we ended up getting thai take away for the next 3 nights. Our parents also ate at the restaurant 2 nights in a row. Would strongly recommend having dinner here when in Mosman.

Yu and his team are exceptional. My entire family love coming here, the food is fantastic and great atmosphere.  Do yourself a favour and get the coconut lime prawns
