The stir chicken Thai fried rice is awesome. The portion is much bigger than expected. You get that “wok hey” smell. The chicken is tender and generous portion. My wife ate the red curry. It is little more coconut taste though. Taste nice.

We live locally and love Thai Kai Cafe!  One of the  few places in Kuranda that stay open at night for locals.  The food is excellent - we are vegetarian and love the veg choices they have, especially the Tofu Massaman Curry - yum!  :-    Really reasonably priced as well.  Margi

Best Thai in Town! We are regular take-away customers here & love the mild Green Curry, Phad Thai & Stir Fried Rice. Its a great way to get our young boys to eat their vegetables!! The service is always friendly. Worth seeking out despite its tucked away location!
