Situated at a beautiful place near the market. The waitstaff was polite and patient. With average wait time, dishes were served with an expected fill to the hunger. We got the chance to try pad ki mao and pineapple fried rice. Both of the dishes were pretty filling and helped gaining a good perspective for the thai cuisine. The vegetable puffs served with the sweet chilli sauce were simply the best. Taste could be slightly better but not bad for a try.
Lots and lots of potatoes and a spoon full of meat. Asked for beef mussamun curry and had chicken mix in it too and lots and lots of potatoes. The taste was there but not worth ordering.
I do not recommend this restaurant, the food was very bad, we ordered fried rice with pineapple and what they gave us was more oil than food, the vegetables were not fresh look the baby corn. I couldn't eat a quarter of the food as it was just oil
Terrible - we changed from Thai Basil a few months ago to a different place as the standards had dropped - though we would give it another go. Big mistake- all 4 dishes did not even look like they should. My daughters dish was full of burnt pieces from the bottom of the pan - inedible. Pad Thai had chicken and noodles - nothing else- it did not taste like anything but sugar. Other 2 dishes where also terrible. Ended up throwing most of the food out. Awful and disappointing- never go to this place. I feel like I just flushed $70 down the toilet
+ 4 stars for Yum beef salad which was really decent. - minus one star for outdated prices on the menu online. - minus one star for chicken basil fried rice, which was basically just white rice with sauce.Food: 2/5
Honestly, worst food I have ever put in my mouth. I know its not expensive but all the items we ordered was not edible at all. Not sure how they are doing business. No/little sauce in any items, boiling water with masroom and chicken and the call it soup!!!. Finally, very rude old lady. Just ignore it, spend a little more and go to a decent thai restaurant.
Always great food at a great price with friendly service. That's why we are regulars !! Parking: We've never ever had parking problems, whether it be lunchtime or dinnertime !!
Worst Thai in the Illawarra! My husband ordered a salad and has had this before elsewhere, never has it been served in a pool of juice. There was literally 2 glasses worth of juice in the small bowl. And they brought out rice for him as well which he didn't order with his salad yet they tried charging for it. No drinks offered, just a large jug with cling wrap covering the top of water, which tastes weird. We wanted to order drinks but the 2 old ladies in there were not plesent at all and too busy arguing and you get a 3rd world feel sitting in a dingy restaurant room where there's more freezers then tables. Highly do not recommend unless u want to feel sick as soon as u walk out the door
If nothing else is open Monday nights call this place if you wanna throw half your food away. Absolute rubbish. Uber eats on time that’s why the one star.
Seriously they call it thai food, $1 coles instant noddles are way better than their gurbage, stay away from them at any cost..
