Simply put, the best Thai restaurant in Ringwood. The wooden interior design is colourful with floral decorations and Thai fabric. Menu and ordering is easy by QR code. Payment can also be facilitated online for a complete contact less experience. Lastly, the food is super divine! Yummy authentic Thai cuisine. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: See Ral vegetarian dishes are available. Kid-friendliness: No kids meal available. Parking: You can conveniently park in the south side of the Eastland Mall. Valet parking is available at the basement. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access by elevators through the Eastland Mall.
A classy Thai restaurant with beautiful decoration and comfortable seats. #thaialleyeastland The spicy taste is sure to be liked by Thai people. Panang curry pork is awesome. The pork is so soft and tastes exactly like the one in Thailand. Stir Fried Clams, Pineapple Fried Rice, Stewed pork hocks on rice, soft skin that melts in the mouth. Green curry served in a thick coconut milk. Oh my! The best one in Eastern Suburbs. The shop's special recipe curry they cooked their own curry pastehomemade. It smells so good. Guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
It is the first time we have food in the restaurant! Slightly expensive than the other Thai restaurant, but nice food! Friendly staff, also kid friendly. The staff provides us the kids cutlery! We have a good experience! We will definitely try other dishes next time!
We say we eat with our eyes first and the owners really took that to heart. The design and fit out of this place is quite detailed and interesting. We visited Dec 2022 on a Sunday for lunch. Not very busy while we were there. A little offput by the waitress. There's a subtle difference between 'is that all today?' And 'is that all?' I mean... it just felt like somehow we were wasting their time. Maybe I was being overly sensitive. Main reason for the 4 star and not 5 is that while the food was good, it was unoriginal and highly modified to suit Western taste buds. IMHO far from traditional tastes which was disappointing. Still an excellent place to eat, if you're in the area. Not worth a drive out though.
We came in for a spontaneous date night and can not recommend this place enough!! We tried the tasting platter and it was AMAZING and such great value!! Everything was so delicious and so beautifully presented!!! We will definitely be back!!
Simply the best Thai restaurant I had in whole Melbourne. Each and every dish we ordered was so so balanced. We ordered stir-fries, fried rice , red curries and few more dishes but every dish was yum. We went in a group of 12 and everyone loved it. Highly recommended for everyone. Service was excellent too. Unfortunately I did not took many photos as did not reviewing in my mind but the food was so good I had to review.
Last night we decided to try Thai Alley after being recommended by a friend and wow, best recommendation to date! The service at the front door was so inviting, and for me that sets my mood! The venue is absolutely stunning, chairs were comfortable and the ambience was fantastic. Ok the food. Never have I ever had chive dumplings like this before see pic, perfect entree size to share and the sauce it came in, was a sweet soy to compliment the dumplings. ***I highly recommend! We got some stock standard thai dishes and they hit the spot too. One thing I noticed was the strawberry daiquiri, I asked why it tasted so fresh, the server said they used fresh strawberries in the mix. And it made sense. The espresso Martini was a 10 for me too. Prices are reasonable and makes for a cute dinner out!
Thai food in Eastland, but not very authentic. The decor is nice and it seems quite popular, so I gave it a try. The soft shell crab fritters is very good and is worth going for. The Crying Tiger beef tasted good, but the beef steak looked hastily chucked on the plate. Maybe a bit of care by the chef would have done more justice to the dish. The pineapple rice is average-ok but the tom yum fried rice doesn't taste like tom yum - not ok. Unfortunately, the Tom Yum soup could do with more Tom Yum/lemongrass flavour and the prawns were over cooked as they were tough and dry. Don't order the Tray Som Tum Salad because the noodles are clumped together, dry and tasteless, and the green papaya salad is too little proportionately to make any difference. The manager was nice enough to give us a discount to make up for the dish thanks. Ultimately, it was for the soft shell crab fritters and the Crying Tiger that I gave it 3-stars.
Thai Alley is one of my fave thai restaurant. The food is amazing My fave is the caramelised pork belly, it's the best pork belly I've tasted so far, it is so flavoursome, and it's so tender that it melts in your mouth. I can't get enough, and I will be back again and again Great customer service, too.
Gone are the days where shopping centres only have fast food options on offer. Located in the upstairs food precinct area in Westfield, Thai Alley offers a fantastic meal option situated right near the window looking out into the vista. Between two people, we ordered the soft shell crab bao, grilled pork with sticky rice, Pad Gaprow and mango sticky rice to finish off. Everything was fresh, delicious and absolutely bursting with flavour. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria to share as well. This is not a cheap eat, but it is value for money as we walk away with leftovers and very satisfied with the meal. Make sure you get there early as they tend to fill up quite quickly! Parking: Located in Westfield so plenty of parking
