They changed the menu board and I hadn't been in for at least 2 years so was lost ordering. Couldnt hear a word the server said. THIS is what you get for $21.38. Horrifying expensive. I paid extra for the coleslaw, which must've come to about $4 for three tablespoons of coleslaw. And where's the fries? Good question. I checked at home and there is supposed to be fries in the combo. So they ripped me off again. Meal was average. Drink is baby sized. Burger was small. Neither was Texas sized. Wished I'd gone to KFC. Did they change ownership? It used to be good when it opened. I won't be returning and neither should you.
Having just been in the Philippines and eating delicious Jollibee chicken and delicious Shakey's chicken and the fact I've had Texas chicken many times before in NZ it's hard to understand how I can be served raw chicken. I would have thought the cooking of the chicken would have been timed to be perfect. The photo is of the chicken that replaced a much rawer piece that I didn't get a photo of before getting it replaced. The staff were friendly enough about it but it still astounded me that this could happen in the first place. I will most likely reluctantly try the chicken again as the fries here are great but I would imagine it will be some time before I bother going back. This was the Manukau branch in the mall and I've always had great chicken before this instance.
Ordered a 8 piece pack and asked for extra gravy, paid with pay wave. Got home no extra grave! So disappointing, still the spicy chicken does taste nice. But out if my 8 piece, 5 were just wings! It would be nice if they mixed up the piece, say 2 of each etc. It's very loud music etc, the lady couldn't hear me, had to repeat my order and still no gravy. The are busy and seem to just chuck the pieces in......one doesn't expect this from Manukau Food Court, it's not the chicken but packing/staff let this place down.
Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE ! took about half an hour for my order.. the attitude I got from the staff was shocking I didn’t see staff wearing a single hairnet or hat or apron in sight beards weren’t covered with nets hair was in long ponytail no gloves ??? not good at all..unhygienic manager looked sloppy…where’s the professionalism? Is there a dress code for staff ? One of the staff was giving me the evils when I was waiting for my order… then they started to throw the chicken in the box with tongs..if you don’t like your job then resign simple as that don’t waste the company’s time..I’m very patient person considering I am a hospitality worker myself…I understand it is pressuring when it’s busy but it is what it is..deal with it. Thank you
The girl on the cash register whom order taker was good service with the smile after my order number has called I asked for ketchup and the manager lady came out reply me with a bad reaction and tone. You need to learn more about management skill
If there is 0, I will give this 0. Staff are not trained to have customer service. They are not resourceful enough to offer any alternative for the customers to be happy with their orders! We went there today, we ordered large combos and the staff gave us regular drink cup, which is okay, acceptable, but I asked that we ordered large combo. She was able to replace the cup into large one. I ordered for large plain gravy and she said there can’t do it today. Which is again, okay, understandable. Now, we have our order, I noticed that she gave me small veggies, which I informed her that instead of large gravy we want large veggies. She was not able to give the large one. Next, disappointing scenario, was our chicken looks like reheated 10x and served it to us. Very disappointing! Do not ever go to this fast-food chain, never again!!! We wasted $34 dollars for this wasted food that they gave us. Please do train your staff with best customer service that your customer deserved as we are paying what we deserved!
Really crispy chicken! Very delicious
New menu board, new staff, new uniform.... same old grumpy attitude as always. Do these guys even know what customer service is? The way they treat their customers is disgusting. No eye contact, no smile and yells at you. Got chicken tenders x 2 and wife and I almost choked on how dry they were. When this TC opened it was good food at a good price but now I'd rather go anywhere else than there. Totally disgusting.
Very poor service. I ordered hot and spicy chicken n wings. When I turned up to collect my order they told me they had no spicy chicken left and neither did they have any wings left. There excuse was because it was a long weekend they ran out. Very poor management from a fast food joint. Staff Obviously doesn't know how to do inventory and stock control. I then asked for a refund and they told me they cannot do a refund. I then had to explain to them it's not my fault you they didn't have the items I ordered and finally got my refund. It was my first visit at this texas chicken branch and it'll be my last visit also.
Everything ordered- wrap, burger,fries tasted awful, looks like they have used spoiled meat. They dont bother to take care of cooking properly neither packing/wrapping. Would never recommend this branch, very poor customer serviceFood: 1/5
