They charged me 400% mark up on my medication when both medications are on the PBS. Advised them that my script has now been fulfilled so I can't use it elsewhere. They failed to mentioned I didn't have to buy it and that they could overturn the script to be used elsewhere. Then refused to refund me. Had they provided the information needed when I raised my concerns about the price I never would have purchased through them. Disgusting sales tactics.
The staff there are magnificent,but they use to trade Sunday morning,but no more guess it's all about the $$$
Our local chemist, not the cheapest but good range of items, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very nice pharmacists too.
I have just moved back to Kerang and in the first week I told a friend I was heading to the local chemist to fill a script, and to my surprise I was advised to load up on your medications when your in Bendigo or a larger regional town that has chemist competition, having heard this I still chose to support the local store in our community, anyway my friend was correct my scripts were higher in price, I’m ok with that as long as the service is exceptional which on the day was ok, however on the following Saturday my wife asked me to go to the chemist to buy pain killers for her back complaint, I googled the opening hours and thankfully the store was open until 12pm, I pulled up outside the store and approached the door at 11.55am only to find a young lady on the other side of the door advising me the store was closed, I politely advised I didn’t need a scriptnfilled just painkillers only to be told again we are closed! I don’t normally write reviews as my moto is I just don’t come back and unless I’m desperate I won’t be coming back to Terry White Kerang! I’m writing this review not because I want a reply or compensation but because you need to understand your business is an essential service in a country town and if your going to inflate your prices due to lack of competition then this type of customer service is totally unacceptable
No customer service prior to purchase and there were no other customers there. Girl at the counter was pleasant, older grey haired male staff member walked up and told her to hurry up as they had to do the til…we still had time before they closed and she was about to put everything in a bag. He was extremely RUDE stating “we don’t get paid overtime”…I was so close to walking out with no purchase and it was a significant amount too! He didn’t even say hello or acknowledge us, completely appalled by his lack of customer service!!
