It is a great place to watch animals. I'm pretty sure , it is more benificial to small ones for their background knowledge .They have aquarium and it was awesome!! Hope to go next time. Don't forget to drop off from each stop and walk around park. I have nice experience in making artificial rain feel inside the park.
It’s a great place. Huge and spacious enough for the animals. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Remember to take water with you as the park is far from the city. There is a train in the park every 30 minutes you can take so you do not have to walk under the sun
One of the best wildlife parks I've been to. So much to see, lots of diversity, and the animals look really well cared for. The cafe isn't amazing, and the gift shop is limited.
Kids loved catching the train around to see the different places around the park. Especially loved the aquarium and the Oolloo Sandbar show! Definitely something you can do with kids of all ages.
Wow what a pleasure to see this place and also have my pop see this place after been retired from it for 15years. Definitely work every penny and everyone who works her is willing to help and also give you a good chat.
I have a membership in this park and love this place, but need to make its much nicer. For last 3 years park hasn't changed at all need parenting room make a swimming pool as a business, would be great need fans, to hot some gardening, too much old leaves, old trees it's all fire unsafe better animals cages installation painting statues Just need some love and good supervision
We had a lovely day. Wasn't overly busy being a week day. We where able to take advantage of this and take our time wondering around the park. The bird talk was amazing and well trained. Nocturnal house was great as was the train ride around the park. Oh I almost forgot to mention the water buffalo highly recommend going along
What an amazing experience! You could spend the whole day here! We went to the wallaby feeding, the aquarium, the bird show, and the nocturnal house. The aquarium and nocturnal house are air-conditioned - bliss on a warm and muggy day! The free shuttle bus is a great way to get around without walking in the heat. A hand-held fan would be a great accompaniment to your visit. Close to Darwin, a not to be missed adventure!
A great wildlife park. The guides were very informative. The flight deck was a great show. The shuttle bus was a welcome relief in the heat to get you round. There were a few things that could have been done better though. The signage definitely needs improving at each animal exhibit, especially where it was missing or didn’t say where it’s habit was. No signage on the main station as you enter either. The shuttle bus could come every 15min instead of 30min, especially in the heat. Also better customer service from some of the staff. We went to take the last shuttle but the driver didn’t wait. Overall still a good park.
The environment here is mature and the exhibits well curated and very interesting. A little bus train runs regularly 30 minute intervals through the Park on a hop on / hop off basis. Parking is adequate and some shade is available. There is a small Cafe and gift shop air-conditioned. It's about 50 something kms from Darwin.
