The house you go into for Terra-Villa pottery is a bit strange, you have to walk down a long and dark hallway to get to shop itself, so it can be a bit confusing to finf
I first visited Terra-Villa Pottery a few years ago while taking a short cut to Adelaide Central Market. The large terracotta urn on the narrow front verandah of the little old cottage stopped me in my tracks. The red sign out front said Terra-Villa Terracotta by Mark Heidenreich. I had to know more. I tentatively made my way down the bare wooden floor passage to discover some of the most beautifully proportioned terracotta and ceramic forms I have seen - and at a scale I could only have imagined. If you are looking for a unique landscape feature for your ideal garden this is where I would be heading. And if you don't see something that captures your imagination you can always commission your own bespoke artwork. I am a regular visitor to Terra-Villa Pottery and I am always fascinated to see the range of quality pottery and other ceramic artworks being produced here. Well worth a visit.
