Real authentic Italian place with all the Italian pride but very humble. Food was amazing as well as the service. Head chef and the owner of the restaurant Roberto and his lovely wife are very friendly and caring. The ambiance is beautiful and foods are made of fresh products. Very nice wine! The price is very reasonable $26-30 for a main. One of best Italian restaurants I’ve been in New Zealand.
Unexpected Italian cafe in Arrowtown. Amazing and authentic food. Loved the pizza i had with some pasta. Also the coffee was soo nice.i had a flatwhite and nothing could be better. The feel and hospitality was good too.
Very good Italian food. This place in Arrowtown is quintessential Italy! The pizza and pasta is excellent and there is a great wine list from both Italy and local. The space feels like you are in Naples - and it’s fitted with lots of authentic Italian paraphernalia. The staff are so friendly and helpful and make you feel more like family than customers in a good way
A very nice place and ambience. But expensive. We had breakfast and didn’t really have anything Italian so can’t comment. So We had eggs Benedict kiwi breakfast [corrected eggs and pancetta] with salmon n mushrooms and were disappointed with the serving size. 24.5$ mushrooms extra cost 5$ but no where were they worth 5$. and my 7 yr old son ate it all and was still hungry. The salmon bruschetta [corrected salmon and ricotta] was 16.5$ of memory I think. Coffee was 5 $ was a regular FW. Overall 46$ Avoid for breakfast.
We had a very brief visit of Arrowtown and had lunch at Terra Mia. The restaurant served authentic pizzas and pastas. Super friendly and efficient service. We just loved this place!
Stunning genuine Italian food. Complimentary olive bread to start with which was amazing. We went on gnocchi night and so had ragu gnocchi. The best gnocchi I've ever had.
Pizza dough was very good, but the price and flexibility wasn’t that good. It’s not possible to change or switch any ingredients which is kind of sad.
Staff should treat customers better, do not understand how after 2pm they only can make regular pizzas and not small ones. When we then asked to have one big pizza but half Margerita and half Quattro Formaggi we were told that this is not doable because the owner is Italian and doesn’t want to do any changes to the recipes. I have been in Italy a lot of times, and I know that Italians take great service and hospitality very serious and would always try to make their customers happy. And also, I’m shocked how rude they reply to some reviews that were posted on here. This is not how I remember Italian hospitality!!! At least in the end the pizza was ok!
Great authentic pizza, awesome taste. Coffee is also delicious.
Very busy, but staff delivered coffees quickly. Friendly and helpful. Ambience ok, a bit busy for us, but good for the café.
