So very disappointing. We had to wait for 2 hours for our meals on a quiet Monday night where the restaurant was only 1/4 full. There must have been only one cook in the kitchen and inexperienced at that. Our waiter if you can call him that was a grouchy old dude who just didn't care about his customers. The food was overpriced and not worth the wait. $54 for a plate of fajitas!! Changing their name to Nachos can't avoid the fact they are still a sub standard restaurant. Go there at your own risk, I assure you, you will regret it in all the necessary areas that make for a good restaurant ; Price, Food, Service. This place fails in all of them.
Don't waste your time and money on this place. My partner and I often came here before the management changed and enjoyed it every time. However, recently the name of the restaurant changed to 'Nachos' and it's all gone downhill from then. I have NEVER EVER had such an unpleasant experience at any restaurant!!!!!!! 1- there were literally two small pieces of beef on our nachos we ordered. 2- we ordered 6 tacos and were given only 4 purposely as the plate was filled with salad in the middle in an obvious attempt to hide the fact that they only gave us 4 instead of 6. 3- there was a toothpick in the middle of the beef in the tacos! In the end we didn't receive an apology and were still asked to pay for the meal we hadnt eaten even after everything that happened. We walked out of the restaurant hungry and disappointed!!!! Worst experience ever.
Absolutely horrible! We found a 5cm piece of bone in the burrito! Once we brought it to the attention of management, we were told that this shows that this isn't a bad thing and it just shows that they use "real" chicken. We were absolutely appalled at how terribly the manager treated us when we brought it to his attention. He made us feel like we were the ones at fault when in fact, there was obvious oversight in the kitchen that was leading to big pieces of bones in food. The manager's behaviour was absolutely revolting and I would never recommend anyone to go here unless they like chewing on chicken bones. This place doesn't even deserve one star and I really think they need to be professionally reviewed by a board to ensure that customers aren't all being fed food with foreign items such as chicken bones in them.
Very disappointing. After navigating their confusing menu, I ordered the burrito mix. The burritos only had meat inside, no rice, beans, or anything else you'd expect. $25 for two tortillas and some defrosted mince isn't acceptable. Came with a side of rice, with less flavour than a packet of microwavable rice you'd find at Coles. The only positive is that the food came out quickly, and the staff were attentive, although that's not hard to do when there was only 1 other table of customers.
Took my husband and two young girls on a Saturday night. The drinks were lovely and entree came out fast. Kids were given colouring pages and the atmosphere was fun although loud. The textures were great, fresh and crunchy although my tostada was lacking a bit of flavour which was fixed with some extra hot sauce. Staff were friendly but a bit disorganised however the large number of them meant we were always able to flag someone down when we needed anything. Everyone enjoyed their food and we will definitely be back
Looking forward to my birthday dinner, but was left disappointed and ripped off. I went with my husband and young daughter last year and had a pleasant experience, but this year after New management took over the place is appalling. We ordered mojitos which came after we started our entree and were full of soda water and 2 little bits of mint, a banana milkshake was not available so we had to get our daughter a chocolate milk shake which took a good 20 minutes to make. Food was ok, not impressed with the enchiladas no flavour at all.We asked about dessert and were told they had 2 types of cake only so we went for the chocolate mudcake only then to be told 15 minutes later there was actually no cake and if we wanted to we could go to Brown's for dessert which was already closed. They provide highchairs but nothing for the kids to do or a kids menu. Suffice to say my birthday was a washout, we arrived at 6pm and left by 6.50 and we will definitely NOT be going there again.
My husband and I haven't been here for a long time roughly2-3 years. Last time we were here we loved the place and so we were so excited to go back! Sadly, we both left disappointed and hungry! I had the burrito mix and my husband had the enchilada mix. Firstly, we both had under cooked rice on our plates. Secondly, they need to revisit Mexican food, what it is and what to expect. Go have a meal at tex mex or something. The only difference between our plates were that I had a flour tortilla and my husband had a corn tortilla. Mexican that I know, there is a big difference between enchiladas and burritos! They used beef mince, which was extremely fatty and barely had any seasoning on it. The chicken had a horrible taste to it and had that 2 day old chicken taste to it. The gentlemen did not ask how our meals were and instead just handed us the bill. After giving him feedback, i must say we were not expecting a discount on our bill and we're grateful to receive one anyway. Unfortunately we will not be back.
We did not have a flawless evening. In fact when we got there we were starving but as we had not booked we waited for a table. Our friends main came out 30 minutes before the rest, however I am awarding 5 stars because they were genuinely apologetic, they offered ways to rectify the situation, even with two members of the table being over dramatic about the situation. The food eventually came out and it was delicious. Staff were otherwise friendly and pleasant. I understand that sometimes restaurants make mistakes. We cannot expect that they will serve a perfect experience to every customer every time. When the inevitable happens and something does go wrong I want to be here. Tequilas on main recognises it's mistakes and does its best to have you still leave happy.
Ate at this place before they moved to rouse hill, it was bad then. Decided to give it another chance. Still bad. Staff are rude. Managers and wait staff hover over you while you eat. I received the wrong order and was informed I was wrong not them...Despite the fact that i dont eat red meat and that is what i was given?!! The bread is just straight from a packet and chicken is processed. Tastes as though there is no effort put into preparing the food. The menu needs a total overhaul. Completely overpriced for straight from the packet/jar type of food. If you want mexican go to mad mex down the street.
Honestly does not diserve one star! After waiting over 2 hours for our food and the staff almost dropping sizzling wings on my 5 month old baby not only once but 3 times even after I asked them to keep them awaay from the baby.. all 23 of us we unhappy with our meals the food was so bad not one person finished there meal not only was it cold but so rubbery! Some of us waited 1/2 an hour longer because they forgot the order! Every steak was so over cooked an unchewable. My husband had paper in his food when I let the chef know not only was no apology given but he faught me on it and said it's supposed to have it the paper was screwed up in a ball covered in sauce the "margarita" was from a slushy machine and tasted like water with salt in it no tequila at all and was $14! over all it was the worst dinning experience in my life!
