My Mum had a procedure this week at Tennyson Day Hospital. She was very impressed. All the staff were lovely to her. When I dropped her off, I had a few things to sort out with the front desk staff. They were very efficient and helpful. Dr Adrian Chung is the best. I met him at Mum's first consultation. He is so caring and kind, and has the best bedside manner.
What a wonderful hospital! The admin and nursing staff are very efficient and caring. I'd like to thank Gretel for the way she tastefully handled my admission to theatre and her subsequent handling of me when I was lying on the gurney ready for my operation. Dr Kevin Parry, the anaesthetist was also a really welcome antidote to the pre-operation stress I was feeling. The procedure itself was flawless under the capable hands of Dr Sam Hall who was also the first person to greet me as a bearer of good news once I woke up. When I had dressed, I was guided to the recovery room by two nurses and offered food and drink. My discharge was just as remarkable as I was presented with a full report of my procedure by Sun, the discharge nurse. She covered its highlights and presented me with the rehab steps I need to follow once I had left the hospital.nThat was yesterday! Today, o my surprise, I got a call from the hospital to check that I had made a good recovery. Overall, the best experience I have ever had from a hospital and its medical team!
What a wonderful experience at this hospital! The nurses were so friendly and caring I was at complete ease the whole time. Special shout out to Mel and the other nurse looking after me once I came too sorry I couldn't remember her namenI was pretty nervous when I arrived at the hospital but the kiwi nurse forgot her name too really made me feel so comfortable and we had lots of laughs thank you for my special pink hat.nAnd to the evening nurses for surprising me with fireworks to see me out
What a lovely friendly hospital this is. I’m an anxious patient and everyone made me feel as calm as possible. Thank you to Cathy, Marie, the very lovely Helen, Sue and Gretel for taking such good care of me.nIf I have one criticism, it is when the nurses come out to the waiting room to collect the patient, it would be better for all concerned not to discuss the patients details in front of everyone who is waiting.nOverall a great experience… considering
A very nice, modern and clean day hospital facility with lovely professional staff. I attended Tennyson for removal of all 4 wisdom teeth and felt incredibly well looked after both pre and post operatively by all of the nursing staff. I’m grateful to have had such a nice experience especially when having such an unpleasant surgery!.nVery impressed with cleanliness as well.
