Take a ferry to the ternimal and start walking along river front towards to city . You will come across the memorial and the history of the submarine base. Very interesting.nSame Brisbane felt it necessary to remove the flag of the USA . Modern day news should not effect the reverence one should have for the mennlost from all 4 countries during the war.
Love catching the Ferries along the Brisbane River so many places to explore nTeneriffe is one of my favourites from history to the modern times.nGreat walks along the river , great trendy places to eat ,drink & find your happy.
Wollies, Ferry access, City Glyder 60 bus easy, or a quick bike ride. Itália Kitchen, Fish Bowl, Betty's Burger..Marcelina Gelato lots of options
Beautiful spot. The ferries come on time and usually go to Bulimba, but also sometimes to the university or other areas in the city.nnGreat for a quick ride but also to walk along the waterside for a beautiful morning walk!
