What is Ten Cubed?
Ten Cubed is a private collection, open to the public, 
where an evolving top ten selection of contemporary 
artists, represented by Australian and New Zealand 
galleries, are collected and exhibited in depth 
over ten years.

Story

Collecting contemporary art is our passion. And we think passion is something best shared. Ten Cubed is an art experiment. Over ten years, we will collect in depth from an evolving top ten contemporary artists working in various media forms: sculpture, painting, video art, photography and more.

Sometimes controversial, but always thought-provoking, these artists will be chosen for the aesthetic appeal and collectability of their works, and for their commitment to regular art production. This will be a rare opportunity to follow a hand-picked stable of emerging and established artists, represented by Australian and New Zealand galleries, as their works develop. It is also a unique opportunity to see the process of private art collection on public display.
A single artist will be exhibited at a time, with up to six solo exhibitions to be held at Ten Cubed each year. Where necessary, the artists’ representative galleries may supply works to supplement the in-house collection for exhibition purposes.

At the end of the ten-year study, Ten Cubed will choose its ultimate top ten artists and their best works for final display. Works from the collecting process will either be sold, donated or remain in the private collection.
