We came here for its good reviews and were not disappointed! Indeed all items we ordered are excellent. The only thing I can mention is that we asked for medium for the steak , but I would say it’s more considered as medium-well done. We should have asked for medium-rare. A bit dry but it’s still very delicious.
We visited this restaurant in September while in the area. It’s a nice spot in the heart of town with a friendly team. The halloumi was fantastic—so delicious I could’ve ordered more! The warm olives, octopus and sourdough bread were also fresh and enjoyable.nnHowever, the green salad was disappointing. It was described with sumac, but we only received plain lettuce with a slight drop of dressing and NO sumac, which felt overpriced for what it was. We also ordered their best steak expecting a memorable dish, but it was chewy, even though we’d requested it medium rare. While the dressing on the steak was tasty, the steak itself needed more attention.nnOverall, a pleasant experience, but some dishes could use a bit of refinementnnFood nService nHygiene
Love love love! Found this little gem after spending the morning in Katoomba. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful in our selection of the menu. Each dish was absolutely delicious, my favourite was the haloumi, the whipped ricotta and the zucchini! Ambience of the restaurant was really nice too :
This is! If you are foodie, this is the one. Just stop no need to look any further as the platters you will indulge from, well need I say any more… you will indulge, pick up plates to lick them if you haven’t already used your fingers to try and and gather every morsel of deliciousness from the plate into your mouth. And that comes after fighting your other table mates/friends/family members for those last remnants. To be honest you’d want to go alone to have it all yourself BUT yeah you have to have them with you so you can order more plates. So enough of me ranting on, if you are a foodie, or just love food. Book, you won’t regret the deliciousness from this amazing restaurant. Thanks to Mel and Iain for taking us here. !!
