TVPS is a community not for profit pre-school. We run a 3-4 year old program (5-15 hour options) & two 15 hour 4-5 year old programs.

Story

Templestowe Valley Preschool was established on 27 April 1975. In 2015 we will be celebrating 40 years of Education and Care for our preschoolers and their families in the Manningham area.

We are a double unit centre with separate kinder rooms for each age group. We offer two 3-4 year old groups and two 4-5yr old groups. Over the years the preschool families and local community have created wonderful gardens and play spaces in both the front and back yards for our children and families to enjoy, developing a sense of community and belonging. We are adjacent to the Templestowe Valley Preschool and share a community relationship participating in transition activities throughout the year.

We have a great team of Educators & Co-educators who are genuinely committed to supporting, promoting and celebrating the individual growth of learning and overall development with each child and their family. We welcome a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and encourage parent and family involvement and participation.

A caring, fun and educational environment is assured for all.

Mission

OUR AIM: To create an environment of education and care which promotes
lifelong enthusiasm for learning, where children are given the opportunities to
express their imagination, creativity, skills, ideas, thoughts, feelings and theories, so that they can discover who they are and become who they want to be.
