My son’s home away from homennMy son has been attending Journey since he was 10 months old. The educators have always made an effort to get to know him, his quirks and needs so that they always give him the best day. I’m comforted in knowing that he’s in great care throughout the day. I love hearing about his day from the educators and even from the kitchen staff and centre manager. Everyone at the centre really do care about the kids.nI also love that they go on excursions to the local park and are community oriented.nThank you team for everything that you do for my son!
First time parent, first time using child care, and I'm so happy and relieved I found Journey. Immediately when we walked in for a tour, we noticed how calm the place was, especially compared to other places that seemed a bit hectic. The staff seemed very nice, and we liked that we could see straight into the kitchen and speak with the cooks.nFast forward to orientation and settling in of my very attached 1 year old, and things are going great. All the educators have been so caring and attentive while my son settled in, and there seems to be lots of staff around, not just the minimum ratios, so the children get lots of personal attention. And it's a smaller centre so the staff know all the kids, like a family. While I was there during orientation sessions x3, I repeatedly saw kids happy to see their educators upon arrival, and leaving their parents' arms to get to the educators'. I thought that was amazing.nThere's a separate sleep room, a breast feeding room, and all the food is FRESH, no frozen veg, and you can get the recipe if there's a particular meal your child liked! My son always has seconds there, it's awesome. And a really big outdoor area with shades. Admin is really organised, lots of updates on your child via app all day, and management has been great to deal with. Good parking, good price, and there's even a coffee machine if you need to hang around for some reason.
Since it is the Christmas season, I’ll like to take the opportunity to thanks the educators at Journey for taking care of my little one 7months old for the last few months.nnIn me and wife search for a childcare provider, we came across this centre through a recommendation from a friend. After visiting a number of centres around the area, we decided to go with journey as we were more comfortable the control environment and caring/teaching style of this centre me and my wife are not a fan of open style centres as in our viewthat tends to have an increase risk of accidental injuries.nnOver the couple of months we have observed significant growth in our little one and the fact he is excited on childcare days is a big plus. I’m not implying that this centre is perfect, but the educators there have taken great care of my kid and we are extremely pleased with experience thus far.nnMerry Christmas!
I love how the staff and educators makes you feel at home .my son loves it here.he even cries when hes not attending..i will never forget the first time my son came on orientation day and the educator at the time jordan had welcomed my son in unique way that made me feel at ease and know my son was in safe hand.educators put their 100% efforts in these kids and they always take my comments and issues and act on it and they always follow up with my issues .all i can say is that i feel that my son is going to a family house when i drop him off..i regret not sending him earlier.nThanks to all the team members .
Our very timid 4 year old girl started attending Journey a year ago, who gradually came out of her shell with the help from the educators. Educators there are caring and gave us lots of support in this past year, telling us how we could assist to gain a child's confidence, advising us of their observations. And their kitchen is always spotless, food provided was healthy.nI saw a big change in my girl which we are very proud to witness.
