I have been chasing up my phone that I had given for repair job. I've been physically visiting store multiple times not easy to get access to consultant on top. It has been almost a month now, still got no update. Today, customer service from Telstra said, awaiting for repair need to see manager at store. Visiting at store, I just received a new update that Manager is sick not been able to help. Can someone help me please? It has been many years I was a loyal customer to Telstra, but this was not a service I was expecting.
On 30 December I travelled to New Zealand with my extended family to scatter my father's ashes and travel the country. We returned on 17 January and my phone turned into a brick after restarting - presumably due to the Samsung update issue. I took it into the store for repair. I was told it was available to pick up, but was supplied with a new phone. There was absolutely no attempt made to recover my data. In fact, I was informed that the repair store always wipes the data as soon as it gets there. Had I been informed of this, I would have taken it to another service to attempt recovery first. I am completely distraught as all my photos which did not back up whilst overseas for whatever reason are now gone forever. Those memories are irreplaceable. I am so upset that there was no attempt at repair and no communication to allow me to seek other options, it's really devastating. I followed the formal complaints process with Telstra, and their offering was one free month of service as a 'goodwill gesture' wowwwwww. I asked that they cancel my contract penalty free i.e. I give the phone back and I am free to take up service with another provider and they won't even do that extremely small thing for me. Truly upsetting and completely defies belief that they will not release me from my contract after taking away any chance of recovering the preserved memories of my Dad's final resting place.
Telstra itself should do the right thing in the way they lie to customers eg letting customers know that their contract's have finished and stop charging us. There is much more no doubt about that. No time....
Turned up at 5:15 to get a wireless dongle and was told they were closed. When I asked why it says on the website they close at 5:30 the person told me "we don't take customers after 5" and refused to server me. If you don't help customers after 5 then you should advertise a 5 pm closing time and lock the doors then
My Xbox was faulty I took it in to get it fixed it’s been three weeks an I’ve heard nothing about when it’s due to be fixed or even replaced I’m very sad I’ve been with telstra since I was 19 I’m 27 this year an I’m deeply disappointed on how the situation has been handled like don’t get me wrong great customer service an what not but I just don’t know what’s going on with the whole telstra company in general I’m shocked
Train your staff for a better customer services, I came to inquire about internet connections, services and my options, and one of the staff lacked the ability to comprehensively explain the deals they have or even direct me into the right direction,
We were so lucky to have Luke help us. He was patient with our situation and went way above and beyond with helping my Aunt.
Currently counting down the days until my contract expires so that I can go elsewhere. I strongly suspect that they are vying for 'Worst Customer Service' of the year award. Each & every time that I have gone in there for the last 7 years, one of the following things has happened: Staff tell you a lie; they tell you something completely different to what they told you the last time you were in, or they make a mistake. I can only assume poor customer service training by management. We don't even use our bigpond address, because they spelt our surname wrong in it & it is too confusing to have to explain to people. This is despite them having various forms of our ID copied. Do yourself a favour & go anywhere but here. And don't bother emailing management, they don't reply.
Came today in store at 12.00 pm. A guy approached me and said that I just wanted to change my plan from Vodafone to Telstra as the network coverage is very bad for Vodafone. 4 to 5 staff were free just talking as if there's a social gathering happening. There were also some other customers waiting as well. Was told to wait half an hour, don't know for what purpose when half the staff were just talking among themselves rather the serving us. Recommending people to not go in this store and go to some other outlet. These people are useless. Poor customer service.
Worst experience ever person called Sanat refused to provide any helping answer. Waiting period for no reason even there were handful of customers. I think this person doesn't even deserve a half star. Bad customer service. I don't recommend this store due to lack of professionalism and respect towards customers. While going through reviews I am not the only person who face challenges dealing with these people. Glad I am no longer with these bunch of unprofessional people.
