I really like Tek Market. In general, all the staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. However, today I unfortunately had a negative experience. I believe the staff member’s name was Burcu. When my number was called at the meat counter, I was simply ordering barbecue meat for two people, yet from start to finish she was quite unfriendly and rude.nnI know Tek Market is always very busy, and as someone who works in hospitality myself, I completely understand how challenging that environment can be. However, that is never an excuse to treat customers poorly. We would never allow ourselves to behave this way toward our customers. If you choose to do a job, it should be done professionally. If you don’t enjoy the job, it’s better to do something you do enjoy.nnI understand that she may normally do her job well or that she may have just been having a bad day. These things happen. Still, a customer should not feel the impact of that attitude. At the end of the day, we are paying customers, not receiving anything for free.nnOverall, I am very happy with Tek Market and hope this was just an exception. A little more care and attention in approach would make the experience much more positive for everyone.
Always super clean and I actually enjoy shopping at the butcher here. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Every now and then there’s a little hiccup like a wrong price label they usually sort it out quickly, but last time it took a fair bit of time. Also haven’t seen the tall dark-haired lady on the register for a while she always had everything under control somehow
It was nice to see you again the lady with the red ribbon. After a long time when you served us again I realised you really deserve the praise. Thanks for the great customer experience hope you are back at work again
Large Turkish food supermarket including butcher, deli, dairy, spices, frozen foods, dried goods, fruit and vegetables, all halal.nSome good prices for chicken for example and great looking beef including rib eye on the bone but more normal prices there.nFrom Turkish delight to salami, from pineapples to villi’s pies… as well as commercial utensils for restaurants and catering businesses.nSee my photos for more details. Well kept place, clean friendly and well worth a visit.
Bought two containers of Manti,nnAnd this is what is inside of it. I know TEK aren’t making this themselves, it comes from Anadolu, but you need to get rid of it from your shelvesnnCan’t taste any meat, just 500g per pack of dough
