Without a doubt one of the best views ever!.. Way better than what we expected. It's like a hidden gem on a bright sunny day. Not at all crowded. Very peaceful and relaxing to sit here and enjoy the beauty of this spectacular view. Free car parking available. Highly recommend it!
Amazing view from the top... must visit place while exploring amazing places around great ocean road... we visit on bright and sunny day were awestruck with the view from the top... enough parking spots available to park your vehicles... have couple of walking trails around which we didnt do as shortage of time.
What a beautiful little look out! Definitely recommend to stop here and take in the beautiful view! Easy walk from the car park and also thanks to this look out we noticed St George Lake near by and went down for a swim.
I think a little overly rated place to visit if you have been to the 12 apostles, Gibson steps and bay of islands. Just a nice look out at high ground in Lorne area. Breathtaking view of sea and you may spot the whales sometime from far.
Beautiful spot for a few sunrise shots. Very close to lorne and easy path to get to. Less than 100m from parking.
A breathtaking lookout within a short stroll from the carpark. The lookout is also the starting point of a number of bushwalking trails where hikers can see koalas and kookaburras. That said, the trails themselves are quite steep at points and signage can be quite minimal or confusing along the way.
This point is one of the most beautiful points I've been so far on the great ocean road. As you'll be able to see, the road is seen small yet clearly as tiny vehicles use it. There could be sightings of whales too during the winter seasons, during which they breed. The location also could be considered a good hiking spot. BUT- look out for snakes! It distributes hiking trackers round itself of grades 1, 2 and 3. The parking area is free and plenty of room even for RVs. Any kinds of food or water isn't available at this particular point. Though the city below does have cafe and refreshment spots. As small the Teddy's lookout is, it still holds value and is worth a visit for its scenery.
Great spot high up in hill to take picture of coast and Great Ocean Road. Warning - to get to car park, google maps directed us up Francis Street. This is very steep and our vehicle almost did not make it. Unless you've got a powerful vehicle I'd recommend approaching via George Street.
The best lookout in Lorne for me. A bit private , makes you feel better with some trees and trails. Should meditate for some time in this place or sit alone to let you wash by fresh air from the ocean .
Breath taking view, it's a must stop lookout when travelling through the great ocean road. It s a uphill lookout and get a great bird's-eye view of the road, sea and the joining stream.
