I was privileged to serve two terms as a Board Director at Tec-NQ, including as Chair of the Education and Training Committee. The Tec-NQ model is unlike anything I've ever come across in my four decades of experience working in education - a senior secondary school, a registered training organisation, a boarding facility, all with amazing links to industry and a strong commitment to students in regional and remote North Queensland, as well as meeting the needs of trade-based students in Townsville, Cairns and Mackay. With the addition of Health and Hospitality to the suite of more "traditional" trades, Tec-NQ now caters for a very wide range of careers. If you as a student, or parent of a student, consider a trade-based career pathway is worth investigating, I can highly recommend getting in contact with Tec-NQ.

TEC NQ is an amazing educational facility. From the amazing receptionist Natalie to the educational staff they are all wanting the best for the student.
