Didn't quite have what I wanted at the time but a fairly good variety of food on offer
I do shop here for my basics, staff are awesome. More variety at Morrinsville Countdown. Plenty of parking. Hi went to our local Countdown this morning, and was able to get what I needed which was awesome. Considering what the staff have been through over the last couple of yrs with Covid, I say a big warm thank you to you all. Some items may have not been in the shop over time. But you all kept the doors open and you all smiled and were all friendly. Thank you from me I'm a local and once again I appreciate your work you've done and still doing. The place is clean and tidy and still the shelves are stacked. Go have a look and say hi to the staff
Beautiful wee town and lovely cafes all through Te Aroha. Very friendly community
Parking isn't great, shop is dark and there is a limted range of products. Staff are friendly.
Run down, dusty, needs a good clean and a really onto it store manager
It was awesome, tjey had everything I needed and more and the checkout service was the best I've ever had. Thank you so much that lovely lady on checkout 4 at 12:20pm. You are and were wonderful
Things have improved here in the last year with staff a lot more friendly but as with all Countdown shops it's very hard to get help in the shop as hardly ever see staff anywhere but the checkout! I do not shop here for our main grocery shop as the meat is too expensive and not the best quality unfortunately! Overall great to have the convenience of a supermarket in town even if things could be improved.
Out of stock on alot of items, looks like the grocery manager needs some training on auto stocker

Rather scrambled placement of goods. Not too sure where to find things. All staff, bar one, very friendly and helpful. One lady mid 40's when asked where I could find Fly Spray and Friskies Cat Food, barked out that they were 'Out of Stock'. Then turned her back on me?? Maybe the Manager?? Each time I've struck her, she is abrupt and rude. I worked in retail for over 20 years and even if the question was a pain in the behind, you always apologise with a smile and say you are sorry or give a reason why. This lady needs more training or a new job. : Just moved here and was impressed by the friendly people until I met her. Went to the 4Square and got cat food and fly spray. Will go there again. :
