Friendly walk way! Nice flat walk with great views and the occasional benches and shades throughout! This will make me wanting to walk more often!
A great alternative for a walk if the tide is too high at Orewa Beach. We usually park at the Arts Centre then head across the bridge. The full walk is 7.6km which takes just over an hour to walk. If you walk the full length of Orewa beach from the carpark opposite the Arts Centre to the Scout Hall and back it’s 6.3km, 1hr 15 mins
A lovely walkway closes to the Orewa town center. Parking and toilets are available. It's a less than 8km walkway and cycling path, even good for a pram with your baby.
Lovely walkway. Does get a bit confusing over the western end and more sign postage would help. Some more established trees along the walkway would be good got shade on hot days too ... but overall a lovely walk
Not bad this was a reasonably pleasant bike ride average terrain only one bit of a climb but I really enjoyed the time there sun shining birdlife chirping friendly smiles I'd go back again near the beach also.pRking and public toilets near by handy. Parking
A great area for walking or cycling. But make sure it is a nice day. There is a wonderful art gallery near by and cafe.
Low impact ride, however you the opportunity to go on road routes and come back to the track. Could do with better signage when on the path as it does not tell you where you are on the map. Plenty of car parking on site as well as changing rooms for parents and bathrooms. Water fountains in some locations or you can stop in at one of the shops for any refreshments required
The portion of the path near the coast is quite nice, but the section through the newer housing is pretty uninspiring. This part also lacks any signage so it is hard to follow the route. Overall the signs are very poor, so it pays to pay attention to the maps at the main entry points. There are some beautiful views at points around the loop, but the lack of effort to add any interest to the newer section spoils the overall experience.
Great place for a bike day
Good wulk flat no hills or steps. Good prams bike wheel chair . Dogs ok as well 1hr wulk water age. Will be back do this agen
